The room was clean, the bathroom was spacious and had a good shower, the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, right at the beginning of old town and on the pedestrian area right opposite Teatro Massimo and our car was able to drop us only a short distance away. View from the room was of the pedestrian area and the Teatro. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Breakfast was provided at a nearby cafe and was not good. The restaurant staff were rude. The food was below average. We only went the first morning (food was inedible) and then didn't go back except for a coffee. Suggest the hotel should look at an alternative provider for guest breakfast.

Excellent choice for discovering Palermo. This is an amazingly located property in front of the Teatro Massimo, perfect for walking anywhere in the old city. It was renovated tastefully and artfully, with obvious attention to quality, by two of the grown children of the family who owned the building when it once housed a shoe shop. Ours was a deluxe one-bedroom on the side of the building. It had two balconies with a fine view of the opera house. It was chic, contemporary and stylishly appointed. Impeccably clean. Though the neighborhood was noisy and vibrant way into the night, the flat was very quiet with the windows and shutters closed. Entrance is by digital key as these are serviced apartments rather than a hotel. The staff is communicative and responsive. The owners also run a very good restaurant with an unbeatable rooftop view of the Teatro. Vouchers entitle guests to a satisfactory breakfast in a lively cafe right outside the entrance.

The location was amazing- we had never been to Palermo before and it was easy to navigate from here. The apartment was cool & comfortable - felt spacious!
