Ants in the property, some stuff was rusty

Great location with outstanding views.
No cupboards in either of the bedrooms so not really anywhere to put clothes had we been staying for a longer time….which we plan to do 👌

Did have internet despite booking agent saying it did not.
Needs handrail on steps up to property front door.
Need to trim vegetation next to driveway.
$1000 bond non-returnable for 7-10 days is just unacceptable.
Very hard to find property number from street - up a hill, hidden behind bushes.
Not warned that driveway is VERY steep with no way to turn around easily. Also had to back down.
Not warned about multiple stairs up to the property and within the property. Bottom step outside is also very high if you have back problems.

The view was amazing.
Beds were comfortable.
Everything we needed was supplied in the kitchen.

Split level property with many stairs & no handrails - not mentioned on website. Uncomfortable bed. Ant infestation in kitchen.

great spot, nice house
after booking with Bookings .com, had to deal with real estate agent.They demanded emailed photo ID and credit card,$1500 deposit and texted annoying texts re noise levels even before we arrived. I didn't think having booked on line this was appropriate but was only way to get keys

Everything else. View was insane, access to the beach. Privacy between the two bedrooms. Also had a WiFi issue which was resolved after a few hrs which was good. Pacific palms who manage the place are polite and helpful.
Pantry totally unstocked. No tea, coffee, bin liners, sugar, oil. Whilst these are not mentioned in the listing, it would have been good to call this out explicitly. None of us had ever stayed anywhere where these things are not available, including no frills motels. There are no local restaurants so we packed expecting to cook but didn't bring tin foil and others basics expecting there to be some. The local store is however well stocked but this and the several calls beforehand trying to get access to the property whilst we were there to change the furniture around was a bit annoying.
Its a beautiful place, you just have to bring the kitchen sink to be comfortable and for the price that's annoying.
And a final thing only 1 of 4 of us had any sort of mobile reception. Would have been good for this to be mentioned as one of the party was a surgeon. This wasn't an issue and we all liked being offline but again, would have preferred full disclosure.
