The Dutch Cottage is absolutely beautiful and spotless. Anthony is the nicest host we meet in Sri Lanka so far. We highly recommend staying here.

Anthony runs a perfectly situated guest house, tucked away quietly up the hill overlooking the town below. Easy walking distance to the centre as the town is wonderfully quaint and small. House was immaculately clean, host was a charming and as helpful as they come. A Super Host in my opinion. Thanks for all your additional help and information. Excellent English and Dutch.

The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming offering me tea and snacks on arrival. It felt like home for the duration of my stay and I would definitely visit again. It's a short walk into town with a nice view over the mountains and is very tranquil.
There was no WiFi.

It was a very pleasant stay. Will surely recommend to others and planning to re-visit. The place is very clean and comfortable and the owner is very friendly and accommodative.
Vehicle parking was a bit of a concern but not bad.

Location as no easy access to city, no nearby restaurant.

The host was wonderful, he is such a friendly, kind hearted man and very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and the room was very neat and cozy. Everything was very clean as well. We really enjoyed our stay.
The temperature of the shower was difficult to control sometimes.
