I loved having three bedrooms and three bathrooms that was fantastic we all were able to do our own thing… most everything was very nice and the place was well stocked.

I only have two minor items, really more of a heads up, there is a problem with the sliding screen door on the back patio it needs some work as well as the screening in the front door is not attached so we were concerned that bugs might get in and didn’t leave it open for the Crossbreeze…

The property is just across the street from a trailhead that leads to a beach, which is much quicker than the 15 minute drive to access it by car, but also more challenging. There is a sign posted at the trailhead that indicates that the trail is hazardous, so families with young kids may opt to drive. The property is also located near a few shops and a gas station that are just a bit further down the road. The island isn’t that big, and the scenery you encounter along the way to destinations that are 20+ minutes away are worth the trip. They also don’t tell you this, but a lot of the hotels here provide everything you’ll need for each trips, like umbrellas, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, beach towels and chairs. This place did the same, which was great for us, even though we didn’t use much of it because of limited car space and access to child friendly activities. The bedrooms have dark curtains, but they are not solid, so every morning we would wake up as the sun was rising just out of view from the bedroom window. If you prefer blackout curtains like we did, this might not work for you, but despite our preference, we enjoyed being able to start each day this way, and it was surprisingly relaxing. The location has advantages even in some of its disadvantages.

Ants. We could not get away from them. Pretty sure there is a mature colony nearby, because some of the ones we found in the first couple of days had wings. We were surprised to find geckos inside the unit roaming around, but they were not nearly as off putting as the ants. We also received our fair share of bug bites every night, which would have made for a really unpleasant trip, but we were prepared, thanks to an email we received from the property about all of these things, just a couple days before we arrived. We were outdoors most of the day every day, so none of these problems were too much to handle, but we will probably choose to try somewhere else on our next trip to see if these are normal issues.

Comfy beds, snorkels and beach toys were a plus. Location was awesome.

Place was clean but carpets were stained and the curtain rod was coming off and there were just little details that were in need of repair.
