The cabin is clean and comfortable, balcony has a view from living room and master bedroom. Kitchen was stocked with everythings, also all kinds of spices, although we brought our own in case. The stove needs a lighter so we found one at the fireplace,
The house is homey and secluded, it is the last one on the very narrow one lane woodsy street. The street itself is not obvious from the main road but keep an eye on the side until you find a sign saying private property, this will take you to several cabins just keep going until the end. It might be hard to spot at night so try to arrive during the day if you can, GPS doesn't take you there but the email sent to you will have clearer directions so follow that! The house is yellow with brown trims.
We loved the view, so many fall beautiful trees and the lake with a bridge for cars at the horizon, there is a small gas station nearby and a Walmart 15min away. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back one day!

We loved everything about this house! The view was stunning, it was decorated adorably, the kitchen had everything you need to cook with, lots of shared space for a small group, clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet, and secluded. It had great outdoor space as well; an open porch with rocking chairs and a one that's screened in with a couch and a table. This is important because you'll want to be outside to enjoy the view! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it.

the only downside was the kitchen with 2 big refrigerators in this small space. the refrigerator for the owners blocked counter space and extra cabinet making it cramped to cook. I would suggest the owners to have instead a small or mini refrigerator they would place in a closet so the guests would feel more welcomed and have more space. I would also suggest to install toilet paper holders in both bathroom.

The Perfect View
We loved everything about this house! Overall, our family of four really enjoyed our stay here. The house is charming and cozy and in a peaceful, secluded location. The view from the deck/porch and master bedroom are spectacular! We especially enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and the rocking chairs on the deck. Wifi internet and cell service were excellent. A/C worked well. The kids enjoyed watching NetFlix. The only issues we had were with overall maintenance and cleanliness of the property. It needs work. The floor in the living room isn't level and the couch tilts to one side. You can see daylight between the fireplace and the wall next to it. The porch was filthy and had some holes in screens - had to wipe down table and chairs before sitting on them. Hairball in shower and toilet not clean in one of the bathrooms. Found mouse scat in a saucepan in one of the kitchen cabinets. We loved the house, its location and amenities, but don't think we'd recommend to a friend unless some maintenance was done and it was cleaned to a higher standard.

Serenity and seclusion.
Wonderful place with fantastic views to get off the grid for some peace and quiet. Very limited options for dining close by but well equipped kitchen and grill. Only advice is to run the dehumidifier constantly during visit as the house is very damp. Owner should consider direct piping the dehumidifier for continuous use. We had a great stay!

We took 2 teens to the lake for a long weekend. The house was perfect for our needs. Beautiful views, nicely appointed kitchen, very clean. Spent our mornings drinking coffee on the screened in porch and our days on the lake! Sligo Marina is literally 3 minutes away by car. We plan to return!
