Great and kind people , beautiful property and amazing family holidays

Anna was so lovely and welcoming. She really went out her way to ensure we had everything we needed and gave us some great tips for good restaurants nearby. I could never get bored of the views from the terrace and the pool was superb and looked newly finished.

The kitchen could use a renovation but had everything we needed so this is a nice to have

All in all, we had a good time. We spent two quiet weeks at the San Rocco Country House. We looked for and found a house in a quiet location and with a beautiful view. Whereby all important facilities (restaurant - 10min / supermarket - 20min, beach - 30min, ...) could be reached in a short time. The pool, which our children really enjoyed, was especially nice. Even though it was very hot (up to 38 ° C) we didn't have to use the air conditioning. The old house has thick walls. The beds are ok. Anna and Francesco are always ready to help when they are around.

The house has a certain charm, but also its pitfalls (e.g. bad smell in the bathroom - toilet). In general, we missed the attention to detail at the high price (an wooden seat assembly is offered as seating in the courtyard, dirty dishes on arrival and a poorly functioning dishwasher, ..).

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. Just 15 minutes drive to the beach and Pesaro. And the view over de hills is very nice. There is a lot of sightseeing in the surrounding, such as Urbino, Gola del Furlo, Castello di Gradara, Fano, etc. We had the apartment with the terras on the roof. You have to walk downhill to reach the swimming pool, during the walk and at the swimming pool you will have a stunning view over the hills. The water is nicely clean and cool and there are enough beds to relax on. In the garden you can find fresh fruits, such as figs.

The beds were quite hard and not really comfortable. There is a BBQ, which can be used, but it has to be shared with the neighbours. As it is a small one, it's not really suitable to use it simultaneously (10 persons).

Anna and Federico were very helpful and friendly. The house is very nice, in old italian style. Swimming pool was excellent! - clear, with wonderful view. The Marche is absolutely wonderful! I recomend San Rocco Country Hause for everyone.

We especially enjoyed the spacious and clean swimmingpool with an astonishing view. The appt was very large as we were only 3 persons, the 3rd bedroom would be ok for small children. Federico and Anna were very helpfull, Anna also speaks French, Federico's English is excellent. From the MBR, living room and 2nd bedroom you can see the sea, off course from a distance. Pesaro and Fano are not far away, you can make trips to Gradara, San Marino, Ravenna (both not in Le Marche), Urbino ... Kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and oven. If you keep the windows closed the appt stays cool, for hot evenings there is also airco.

Be aware that you need to get up and down the hills every time you want to go somewhere, and that the roads are rather narrow. On the other hand this means that the surroundings are very peaceful and calm as only people who live in the are use these roads. If there are no other cars on the compound you can turn your car, otherwise you'll need to back up, which is less convenient as the path is not straight, but after a few times I could do it in 1 go ;-)

The location is great, the house is very Italian and with a history. The pool area has an amazing view and the pool itself is very clean and nice.
