We had a wonderful stay! René & Margo just amazing hosts and very friendly and helpful... from beginning to the end! Upon arrival Margo walked us to the chalet and explained in detail everything, and even gave us tips on where to take the kids and even dog activities in area (hondenstrand), which we eventually didn't use as it was still too cold and rainy. Inside we were welcomed with a nicely packed "welcome basket" with local beer! This chalet was really very neat and comfortable and we all (incl. our 2x dogs) just loved the big garden! Took our 2x medium dogs with (asielhonden van 10mnde) on their 1st holiday, and this fenced garden is really escape-proof! Chalet is well-equipped with all you'll need, with excellent wi-fi. Towels are already provided (small fee) and comfy beds already made! Just a short drive to the closest towns, Putten/Gardener, to do some grocery shopping. Also enough walking trials in the area to go hiking and letting dogs out We definitely will recommend this chalet! Thank you!

Outdated holiday park with no activities for kids, not even a playground (!!), but luckily there's enough to do in the area (within small driving distance) Nothing to do with the chalet, but good to know... the neighbour busy with building a big shed and already start at 7:00am (!!) with hammering/grinding. At least it is almost finished and hopefully done soon Our hosts did apologise for this inconvenience, which we appreciated.

I have been in a lot of places during my trips, and very few times I have been so pleased with all the aspects of a booking. - The hosts are super friendly, approachable and willing to make your stay as good as possible - The house has an awesome "homely" feeling that made us feel comfortable and relaxed since the moment of the arrival. You can feel the attention to detail and love that has been given to this place: from the decoration to the quality of everything in the house, it is clear that it os done so you can feel like in your own home - The garden! so amazing...beautiful, calm, sunny, top level garden furniture, it was so good that we had to push ourselves to go out haha - The surroundings: in 5 minutes walking you can be in the middle of a forest full of nature paths, but you also have a small city with all the commodities reachable very quickly by car (or even walking if you are not ina hurry) All in all, I can only say good words, we had 4 wonderful days where we relaxed, walked, enjoyed nature and had the pleasure of meeting the two great people that rent this vacation house. 100% recommended, and we hope to come back!

Charming, comfortable and cozy. We were thrilled to get out of the city and into the countryside for a relaxing Christmas holiday with our adult daughter and our dog. We were pleasantly surprised by the Christmas decorations--definitely a nice touch. The kitchen is very well kitted out--although we never did figure out how to properly use the microwave. Hope to go back during the summer so we can enjoy the garden.

Everything!. Rene and Margo are lovely. Their communication was exceptional and they could not have been any more helpful both prior to arriving and during our holiday. Rene made regular contact before we arrived and took the time to get to know a bit about our family and what we were looking for from our holiday. He then researched things for us and sent lots of guides and information which was extremely helpful. On arrival, both Rene and Margo met us at the chalet which was a lovely personal touch and this really ensured we knew where everything was and how everything worked and really helped us settle in quickly. The accommodation is perfect. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, had everything you could need in a holiday accommodation and was like a home from home. There are guides on how the appliances worked and folders of information and leaflets about places to go and things to see. The gardens were beautifully kept, and there are a number of seating areas for you to enjoy the outside space. All doors and windows had fly screens attached which meant on hot days we could leave them open and not be bothered by insects. There were even electric bikes you could use if you wanted. Whilst you were in a chalet park which had 168 chalets you would never know it. It was tranquil, quiet, and all the owners or guests were very friendly. 200 meters away from the park were glorious woods which we could walk in and let our dog run free which he loved. Putten itself is a great area and about a 5 minute drive from the chalet. It has loads of restaurants which seem to all allow dogs , lovely shops, garden centres, vets and you are only 50 minutes away from Amsterdam. We took our dog with us and Rene even found a beach where dogs were allowed to be free and swim which we visited on a number of occasions. All this and its only 3 1/2 hours drive from Calais. Amazing Honestly we could not fault this accommodation, the location or the hosts.

Nothing, there is nothing we can suggest to improve this accommodation. It was so lovely we came home and started looking to see how much the chalets cost!
