Spoiled by the reasons sated below.

Checked out on the Monday morning.(11.00 am) Travelled home, then noticed we were missing some clothes as the wardrobe door is in place when the bathroom on is open.......called the Hotel at 18.00.....only 7 hours later....to report this and they indicated they would look and get back to me in the morning. After calling them again on numerous occasions finally got through to the appropriate people, I also emailed with the items we had forgotten to take. They Hotel were adamant that they were not there and we know 100% that they were. The items had some value as they were designer and since then there have been another couple of items that we have noticed missing and last place we had them was at the Hampton by Hilton at Hamilton Park. Again the House Keeper and Reception Staff have washed their hands of this an with emails from myself suggesting that if they are returned that would be the end of the matter. We have travelled to many locations all over the World and this is the first time that such "DISHONESTY".........SO PLEASE BEWARE.... ** KEEP YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS LOCKED AWAY AND PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANYTHING BY MISTAKE **

Property was quiet , comfortable

Breakfast was very overcrowded and was a challenge as I’m severely visually impaired was difficult in room to make warm drink was no spoon just sticks stayed here a few times and love this hotel but think could do more to make things more easier

• lovely staff • great breakfast with a lot of variety • nice stylish room

• no hot chocolate in the room • a lot of noise in hallway from other guests during the night (not hotels fault but this resulted in us getting very very little sleep) • great tv but remote was broken • dirty lamp in room and sink was also not very clean

Overall a lovely stay, great location, great service and will definitely stay again.

The rooms were lovely, very comfortable, clean. Good quality bedding, pillows etc. It was a little noisy with kids running down corridors but soon quietened down after 10pm. Fantastic view over the racecourse from the bar and rooms facing the racecourse. Easy parking right in front of the hotel. Shopping malls a short drive away. Easy check-in and check-outs Great location just off the motorway.

Breakfast was a little chaotic and very noisy, but it was a busy Sunday morning. Staff struggled to keep up with demand for cutlery, water for the coffee machines etc. Best to avoid the busiest 0900-1000 time if you can. The hotel does claim to be dog-friendly but they do ask you to sign up to a lengthy page of rules including the requirement to find an alternative accommodation for the dog if problems arise. I can only assume this is as a result of previous problems but it didn't feel very 'friendly' when checking in. TV way too big for the room - struggled to focus as you couldn't avoid being sat too near the TV. Surprised by the absence of a timer option on the TV. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed when it got busy - no visible signs of a manager

Very bright and clean. Very good feeling on arrival. Sits within the Hamilton Park Racecourse, which is different.

Sehr sauberes Zimmer, recht geräumig und alles sehr neu. Viele Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel.

Die Betten sind sehr (!) hart (wer's mag....). Leider keine Toilettenbürste. Bei uns hat auch der Fön gefehlt. Das nachgereichte Exemplar ist leider gleich mit einem lauten Schlag durchgebrannt.... Das Frühstück bietet leider fast ausschließlich nur Süßes und Ungesundes- schade. Überhaupt nicht zu empfehlen!

We asked for an extra duvet and we didn't have it.

The location is excellent. The staff were all very kind, considerate, friendly and professional. They were all excellent with the dog, making us all feel very welcome. The make your own waffles for breakfast were a huge hit with the teenagers and the food options were all good. They also really enjoyed the access to the gym.

The cooked breakfast could be improved, though for the price and considering the other options available, it is not a big issue.

Good place for work trips.

Not much around within walking distance at night.

We had to arrange for our dog to be watched overnight as I think your prices for a dog are unreasonably high given how good value for money a stay is for a human!

Minor detail first room we had on trip 1 TV didn't work due to no signal and 1 curtain was hanging off so didn't shut properly and sockets by the bed didn't work. 2nd room on trip 2 the bathroom door had no lock on it As I say these were minor and I was overall very happy with the rooms

The room size was great and the location was perfect for my requirements.

There was no draft beer. Lager, cider and Guiness on tap but no beer. Odd.

Breakfast was mediocre- sausages were cheap tasting, scrambled egg was powdery so I suspect not fresh eggs but bulk buy catering powdered egg. No other choice of egg available. Pillows were too soft; you sink in to them and they wrap around your head and give you neck ache.

The hotel has everything that you need for an overnight business traveller. Plenty of parking and a short distance from the M74 is a good start and the reception is efficient and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was perfect and the bed was as good as you get.

Not sure that the bar or eating areas would encourage you to spend much time there, but everything is very clean and efficient.

Location and staff were helpful

It wasn’t clean enough, carpets were old and dirty, the bed wasn’t comfortable at all, won’t recommend anyone to stay here

Clean, Friendly hotel staff, beautiful green racecourse view, wide variety in breakfast options, dinner was also nice.

My wife wanted hotel staff to arrange a birthday cake for my birthday which they confirmed over-phone prior to check in. But after check-in, they denied any such commitment which was very disappointing. They however offered free drinks from hotel.
