All the amenities of home. Would love to revisit in the warmer months. Minor feedback to enhance the stay includes a write up or explanation of how to use the TV and related equipment and a explanation about the thermostat (s) since there seemed to be multiple hvac systems for those unfamiliar.

Wonderful stay at this property. Very spacious and a lovely lakeside location. The hosts very kindly put a birthday banner out for our children which was much appreciated. Not too much in the local area in terms of bars/restaurants, but we were more than happy to relax on the deck and enjoy the lake. Overall a great star and exactly what we were looking for.

Easy place for our family to stay and have a good time.Everything was easy to work and the bedrooms were large. backyard had a gorgeous view of the lake and we were able to use the pier for the boat we rented. Have to use Chromecast to use the family room tv. There isn't a dishwasher or disposal which was disappointing. Can't open windows because there aren't screens and there were beautiful breezes at night. Close to town where you can walk to get sandwiches, breakfast or a cup of coffee. Grocery is very near by. Highly recommend

This was a definite 5 star plus vacation! The house was immaculate and pans, utensils, grill and appliances were all top notch and, for a family that likes to cook, it was the best we’ve experienced when compared to past family rentals. Besides walks and trips to the grocery store we never left the property because there was so much to do. The kids loved the Lily pad and paddle boards and kayaks got lots of use. We fished off the dock and kept 11 of those we caught. The kids loved it and the California grandson is already planning his next fishing trip. When it rained there was a ping pong tournament, movies for the kids and family games. When we had questions our hosts were easy to reach and helpful. We are already talking about a repeat trip next year!

We had the property for 5 nights. Most mornings we’re spent fishing then breakfast. There is everything you can imagine in the kitchen to make eggs, bacon, toast, French toast, etc. We have been annual renters for years and most places have always been skinny on meal prep pans, pots, etc, this place knocked it out of the park and the place was extremely clean. The hot days were spent swimming, kayaking, the use of a huge Lilly pad, etc. We had access to everything imaginable and it was great. Evenings were spent prepping dinner and grilling and again, everything you could possibly imagine was at our finger tips. After dinner in the late evenings were spent roasting marshmallows and listening to music out front. The property has gone under major renovation inside and out. It Truly, in the 10 years we have had our annual family vacation of 9 one of the best places we have stayed. And hats off to one of the best pier systems on the lake. As I keep thinking about the property there’s not one thing that comes to mind I can complain about and again being a renter for all these years staying just north of the Illinois border on many lakes this place pretty much takes it. Great location. Pier was very nice and house provided a lot of water toys (paddle boards, lily pad, tubes, rafts, fishing supplies). Owners were very responsive and house was clean. Overall was a great stay.

This home was perfect for our family group of 9 - 6 adults and 3 children - ages 7, 8 and 15. The four bedrooms worked out great, especially the "bunk" room for the kids. The water toys which included a lily pad, paddle boards, kayaks, floats and boat toys, and the amazing pier, made it fun for the entire family. The lake was crystal clear, good for fishing and even though the weekend was on cooler side we still swam. The renovations that these owners did were really gorgeous and we'd love to come back next year to see what other things they've upgraded. We had everything we needed for a great family weekend and would definitely rent again.
