The location was good. The place was clean. Nice interior. The area felt safe. Everything you need for a couple staying for a little while. The WiFi worked well. However...
Where to start! First, this is just a bedsit. Despite what the description states there isn't a bedroom, there is just one room - a living room with fold down bed and two couches that can be used as beds. I booked for us to stay for four days with a friend thinking we could use the bedroom and he the living room but this was impractical as it was just a single room. This was embarrassing. We hurriedly had to find a hotel room for him after we arrived late at night. This made our stay rather expensive. For three of the four nights we managed to find hotels but on one night we had to share. I searched on Booking.com for places with two bedrooms - why was this included in the results? I searched again today and it still shows up and is clearly wrongly described. Second, there are not two bathrooms, just one. Third the host requires a 500 Euro deposit. There is a 150 Euro fine if the neighbours complain about noise. Well, some of the neighbours had a noisy party that went on until about 1.30 am. We complained to the host but he did nothing and there was no offer of compensation from him - not even an apology. Fourth, the key box is chained to a lamp post in the street - I have a photo of the key box with a worrying brown mark on it. We paid 75 Euros for cleaning, surely they could have wiped down the key box. Fifth, the host kept asking me to contact him via WhatsApp. I told him I don't use WhatsApp but he kept asking - it is a small thing but annoying when someone repeatedly ignores you. Sixth, you have to agree to an inventory or disagree within three hours of arriving. There is no inventory in the bedsit as far as I can see. I asked for one to be sent to us. Seventh, the street entrance constantly smalls of sewage. There is a drain there that is the source. These are all factual criticisms and can be supported by evidence.
