Ce charmant condo est situé près du sommet de Sugar Mountain avec une vue imprenable sur Blue Ridge. Spacieux et chaleureusement meublé, ce condo est parfait pour une escapade spéciale. Un lit king et un canapé-lit king dormiront 4 personnes au total. Cette unité présente des plafonds voûtés, un grand bain à remous, une connexion Wi-Fi, une connexion Ethernet sécurisée, ainsi qu’une laveuse et une sécheuse (situées dans le placard de la cage d’escalier juste devant l’entrée de l’unité). La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec des appareils modernes de haute qualité. Les nuits froides, réchauffez-vous près du foyer à gaz et écoutez la télévision ou un bon livre. Détendez-vous dans cet endroit tranquille sur la montagne, à quelques minutes du tennis, du golf et du ski. Non-fumeur. Absolument pas d'animaux de décembre à mars. Animaux acceptés peut être disponible en saison pour les chiens. S'il vous plaît reconnaître qu'il y a des frais de 100 $ pour animaux de compagnie (par animal).

When we thought we had arrived to our condo we were glad we did get there after hours, the text message we received with the address sent us to another building , and the actual address of the condo wasn’t listed on anything I received via email or text. So once we found the correct building and condo we were happy. We went in the find on the recessed lighting fixtures hanging from the ceiling, we notified them right away about this as we didn’t want to pay for the repair. The condo was generally clean, we did find trash left behind sitting on the side table and socks underneath the furniture. This condo highlighted the tub in the photos as well as the description, the hot water didn’t work. We notified the maintenance department and they offered to send someone out that evening to check but we asked to wait until morning. The guy came, the breaker was tripped he flipped it back said give it a while and try it, we tried it again that evening after we got back in-still freezing cold. I messaged again (Sunday) no response, we checked out the following day. The company did reach out Monday after I messaged that we had checked out and asked for a reply. They did offer 10% discount/refund, which we appreciated but would have preferred the working tub as shown. I felt the description of the kitchen could have been a little better so hopefully I can help others have insight with this review. What you see in the photos is what you get, there are common used utensils, but no keurig coffee maker, no condiments etc so bring your own/buy them. Overall we had a good trip.

Somewhat disappointing! Front stairway had not been vacuumed for months. Not very welcoming entry. Condo and furniture was nice and in good condition. Mattress on been was thin and bumpy. Sheets not appealing, cheap toilet paper, no shampoo, no tissues, 1/2 roll of cheap paper towels, nothing to clean dishes with, Salt and Pepper is the only thing in ktchen so if you want to cook bring everything.

Great view!Attractively decorated!The property had the following problems:-The soaker tub had no heat the first night. Fixed by property management by replacing heating elements & the thermostat.-Cable had no sound the first night. Fixed by cable technician by resetting cable box.-No hair dryer.-No condiments or spices except salt & pepper. Expected sugar and creamer plus basic spices.

Plenty of space for a couple retreat. Great view of Beech Mountain and Banner Elk in the valley. Very quiet surprisingly seeing that it isn’t really far off the beaten path. The ski slopes were closed for season when we went so maybe it gets a little more lively when they’re open. All in all this place was great and we will return.

I have stayed at the CREST for 23 years.Our unit has received many upgrades during that time.This year the shower was upgraded.NO grab bars, and the very heavy controls fall off.Very dangerous. Repeated complaints to no avail.

The view from this unit is beyond beautiful. We loved watching the sun come up everyday as we drank our coffee by the fire. The location is very convenient. It’s very close to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and several very good restaurants. Parts of the unit have been updated - the kitchen is beautiful and very nice. I thought the entire unit was beautifully decorated. The bathroom hasn’t been renovated yet and the shower is old. My kids were a little disappointed that they couldn’t use the tub - it was functional but there wasn’t enough hot water to even halfway fill the tub. The couch pulled out into a bed - the mattress on it was fine for my kids but I don’t think adults would find it very comfortable. Overall we would recommend the unit due to the close proximity to the ski resort and breathtaking views.

The kitchen, dining and living room were great. The sleeper sofa and chase lounge were collapsed making them very difficult and uncomfortable to sit on.The bathroom had dirt and hard on the floor and soap residue on the tile around the tub. We had to wait to check in due to drain issues. When we were allowed into the unit first impression was excellent. Then more drain issues and a very condescending representative who said that the three drains being clogged was not an emergency and we should call back in the morning. After speaking with the owner the next morning, a service man arrived, walked in the tub with his boots on, poured a drain cleaner in the tub, bathroom sink and hall sink as he explained that we must be used to fast drains. 4 hours for a tub to drain 1 1/2 inch of water was okay because we were on top of the mountain. After he left there was very little change.We poured 6 kettles of boiling water to get the bathroom sink to drain and the same for the bath tub. The hot water would barely last long enough to take a shower, could not get enough hot water to use of the jacuzzi.

The views from the property are as advertised- just gorgeous. Windows all across the back and side of dining area just make the unit. Very quiet complex you are on the top floor on the end. Great location to slopes…2 minute car ride to the base. Kitchen update is nice. Bathroom is very dated and jacuzzi tub wasn’t really working but… that being said we had an awesome trip. Worked for a family of 4 (but our kids are still tweens)…next trip would probably need something bigger.

Location is great for skiers due to the proximity to Sugar Mountain (less then 5 minutes away). It's on the top of it's mountain, top floor, with amazing views.Unit was "clean", but far from spotless you could see dirt on the edges of the windows. The bed needs to be replaced on this unit. It was too soft for us and the way the apartments floor is not leveled it made me almost fall out of it while sleeping.I'd stay again if the Bed and Pillows we're updated and management ensured better cleaning.

Check in was great. However the unit was very dates except for kitchen and floors. Shower was tiny and was peeling. Did not provide shampoo, conditioner or tissues. Little amenities go along way. No spices such as salt and pepper. Have always had these in airbnb stays. Fireplace was cracked and floors very slanted. Husband didn’t feel safe there. Dead flies everywhere

We rented this unit over labor day weekend. Arrived checked in and it was as nice as advertised but No air conditioning ( which we probably should have checked for) so we ended up not staying. Would be a wonderful winter destination

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Sugar Mountain Resort over the weekend. We checked in late due to travel restrictions, and it took us almost 3 hours to find our cabin and get settled in. The instructions in the packet for late arrival didn’t really give the best instructions. It would have been a better experience if someone at the office set our expectations that the office is not located on the resort and that finding the cabin would be like finding Carmen Sandiego. However, once we got settled the condo was nice and clean. It took a while for us to figure out how to get the entire place warm but we got there. We loved how the resort had the activities but didn’t find out until later there was a shuttle who could have picked us up to avoid driving. It was super crowded so parking was a mess. We went snow tubing for the first time and we really enjoyed ourselves. The lines were long and not organized but we got through it. Overall nice location with friendly people.

Nice Vacation Spot
Great place to have a vacation, the view is amazing, the kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal, and the pictures are exactly what it looks like.
It does require going up 1 flight of stairs in order to get to the room.
Most of the attractions around the area are out doors, such as hiking, with beautiful views all around.
Didn't have much interaction with the management office, everything was already setup and didn't require me to have any interaction with them, making it an easy and smooth vacation. Absolutely would recommend to friends.

Bucket List Vacation Road Trip. Satisfied with the room. Absolutely stunning view. The only complaint would concern the beautiful jacuzzi tub and the very small hot water heater. Otherwise, a very wonderful stay.

Great property for a quick getaway. Views from inside and on the balcony were breathtaking, with the ability to see for miles as well as down in the valley. Seems as the property has been updated, but heat was difficult to figure out and adjust at first. Overall a nice place.

Quick Getaway
We love Banner Elk, NC and had hoped to take advantage of ski resorts, unfortunately mother nature had warmer temperatures in mind. Regardless, we enjoyed our stay and took advantage of visiting The Blowing Rock and other sites instead. We also enjoyed taking some time to rest and restore before the new year.

We loved it the view was awesome just breathe taken. Our one issue with this condo and yes it might be miner to some it’s means a great deal to us. The pots and pans were so gross making breakfast was a total nightmare we use a six pack of eggs in one breakfast for two people because it stuck so bad to the pan each time. I reached out to management company about missing living room remote to tv they were up to help us search in minutes it was amazing at that time I shared about the pans and he Alan said he would make note to get corrected… He too was very pleasant to speak with and very helpful.
The management company I give them a 100% and this condo I give it a 99%

Nothing to the owners’ or rental agency’s fault, but had some young guys renting below us who were heavy smokers and quite loud....otherwise worked perfectly and the location was perfect to ski Sugar! Extra pillows and linens for the pullout sofa would have been nice to have....
