Great staff and nice rooftop bar. Wi-Fi very good in rooms. Location is ok, not near a big road so it will be quiet.

The beds can be improved. It was also only one toilet/shower for 8 ppl in my dorm so the mornings could be tricky.

The host, Tweety, is exceptional...she is very personable, knowledgeable and resourceful; she was very helpful in setting up tours. The staff, Dolly, Wing and Baguette were great and very friendly also. The location is great for exploring Dumaguete on foot. I will be back.

More wishful thinking...The roof top bar is not opened on Monday or Tuesdays...but then again, the staff needs a break also.🤗👍

Too many per dormitory, you sleep very close to the next bed, fans are very very loud. The staff is cleaning the room at 8am even if you are sleeping, opening the windows and curtains

The hostel is in a quiet area, it's clean and has very good "vibes". The bed was comfortable and has curtains, the locker under the bed big enough for a person. In the terrace you can work with the laptop (when it rains too), relax, have a drink. Good wifi. Tweety is an excellent host.

Curtains don't close very well. The air conditioning is quite noisy.

We loved Antwet Backapacker Hostel, the rooms are clean, the people working there are so nice and give you a lot of tips to discover the city and beyond. The rooftop is great to discuss with people, to drink a beer or to eat for dinner. It is well located for the city center and the port. All of that for a very cheap price. Wonderful !

The rooms and the bathroom was a bit old but it was clean.

The staff are amazing. Tweety the owner is very knowledgeable about all of Negros and can help direct you around. It's a very central spot in Dumaguete. They have bikes for rental and a nice rooftop bar. It's very very clean. Cleaned multiple times a day even. I booked one day ended up staying for 5. There's actually so many amazing things to do. I would suggest the bike tour she suggests in the brochure. It's alot cheaper to go to app island from Dumaguete then siquijor. And dauin marine sanctuary is amazing. When I come back I will definitely stay here and recommend to everyone on my travels. And shout out to dolly she is such a gem. I got very sick my last day and she took care of me it was so nice to have the loving hand. Thank you so much for a lovely stay antwet.

Rooftop Bar, Rental Motorcycles at a fair price and in good condition, everything was clean and the place was quiet. Tweety and the other staff at the hostel were super friendly and helpful :)

The staff is absolutely lovely, they were very kind and helpful, and even invited some of the guests for the staff's Christmas dinner. This is why it is especially hard to give a bad rating, but in my opinion a hostel is primarily a place where you expect to be able to rest and sleep. Maybe the exception would be party hostels that make that point very, very clear. Apart from that, location is quite good.

The place can get VERY noisy. The rooftop bar is a nice place, but you can't have a bar with very loud music and tens of people with absolutely no insulation (not even a door) right on top of the hostel bedrooms and expect that people will be able to rest. This means that if you're unlucky and there's a big night going on at the bar, your best options might be joining in or going for a walk.

We only stayed one night as a stepping stone down to Dauin. It’s a hostel in an apartment complex. They pretty much have the whole floor as dorm rooms. Really friendly staff! They were happy to go out of their way to accomodate a few of us by setting up a TV to watch the World Cup. The rooftop bar would be a good place to hang out with other travellers, although we didn’t use it as we were tired from travelling. Lower bunks are better as they have a curtain. All in all a decent place to stay for a weary traveller.

No curtains on top bunk (although this isn’t a big deal really). One bathroom and toilet per 10 bed dorm room.

The staff are very accommodating. Ate made my itinerary. Was able to give good recommendations. The dogs are cute.
