great view of the ocean and beach, 2 swimming beaches within 300m away, plenty of restaurants around, a checkers and a spar near by. braai facilities, a swimming pool, great fishing spots near by. security is excellent, felt very safe. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The unit has 2 bathrooms with showers that my semi disabled parents could easily get in and out of. There is a board walk along the beaches that my Mom could walk on which is level, the ramp from the pedestrian gate to the board walk is a little bit steep but manageable (about 4.5m long with a 1m incline). The balcony has a roof so we could sit outside and watch he ocean all day whether it rained or it was very sunny. The unit has an inverter that lasted the full 4 hours of loadshedding we had. The inverter only powers the tv and wifi but there are rechargeable battery lamps provided. We were extremely happy :)

The building has a generator that keeps lights on around the complex during load shedding but the elevators don't work which could leave a disabled person stranded for a some time, make sure you check the load shedding schedule for the day and it won't affect you. bring a few extra battery lamps and power banks for load shedding. a small gas stove for the unit would be nice too so we could make coffee during load shedding.

This apartment has become my home away from home in Durban Perfect location, whether it's couples, family getaway, or a combination .. From the owner to the staff, it was ...excellent service Recommend to everyone ... Clean and comfortable everything you need catered for... Location is right on the beach.. We had access to beach from the apartment The lifts were functional The self-check in was painless

A month has passed since checking out, still waiting for the refundable deposit of R1 500.00 I stayed for 1 night without any breakages

Perfect Location. Beautiful view. Clean apartment.

Although it is self-catering, it would be nice to have a few sachet of coffee, sugar, milk or water in the fridge on arrival. (Atleast for one cup per person) The UPS is very old, after power failure it only lasted for about 15 minutes. new inverter is going to cost you about 10k, but will be able to power the TV for atleast 5 hours. The old inverters also takes more electricity to charge - and they dont last long. It is also costing you more in the long run. Newly painted walls, but the place did smell odd though as the walls were freshly painted. (Beautiful ;) Overall, I will stay there again. The view is just gorgeous. I will recommend this place.

Balito are very clean it was not as crowded as other beaches. Our stay was exceptional we had everything we need.

Most of the attractions was riding distance from where we stayed. Balito needs a Waterpark.

We loved the view , apartment was neat and clean. A nice personal touch with an inverter there.

Nothing to complain about.

The location was excellent, right on the beach, the Apartment was spacious and it has an invertor. It is well equipped and we had everything we needed. We would book there again in winter.

The bottles of shampoo in the bathrooms were both empty. cleanliness could have been better. there are no aircons so would not book there in summer, but it was absolutely fine as we stayed there in winter.

Location was perfect , on the beach as we wanted to be on the beach.
