Superb location. Literally 6m from the ocean at a beautiful beach. Very close to Clonakilty town (5km exactly). Went running there twice and it was very doable, no footpath for the first 3km notwithstanding, traffic was quiet on the route and drivers were patient. People were friendly. Hotel has great amenities on hand. Value for money was tremendous and the place exceeded expectations for sure.

Some little upkeep here and there is needed in the apartment - a broken towel rail in the en-suite, for example. The hot water seemed to run out after 8pm each night. But the walls have been painted recently and there is very little else I’d say needs to be improved.

Location is one of the most amazing places in Ireland. Wonderful place to spend some time. Amazing experience for Children. Love to see in high season. When surf school is in operation.

TV in main living room too small. Should have a 40 inch Samsung would be perfect for room.

Self catering, kitchen facilities good but could do with Instructions to use the Induction Hob. We had to call a relative to find out.

We were told by the housekeeper, Margaret, that we could not access the apartment and to ring after 5pm to find out when we could access. Also told to leave the apartment at 10.00 on 17th, when checkout is up to 11.00, makes no sense. Expect management to execute the rules they make. Owner did not know we were in the property, and tried to access apartment while we were in it. She did apologize for this! Damp mold in master bedroom on ceiling.

Beautiful apartment very clean,warm and cosy. The kitchen is very well equipped. Bed very comfortable. The view was the highlight lovely to go onto balcony and watch the sea roll in and out.
