Place is close to Yosemite park

- part of facilities should be removated - the salon is actually a garage - air conditioning is not good - small bedroom - there were ants in the toilet

We were surprised by the size of the accommodation - it was like having your own apartment, with lots of room to hang out. I wish we had had time to finish our jigsaw puzzle! Everything in the unit was well thought-out, and Jennifer was a thoughtful and responsive host. convenient to Yosemite, and Oakhurst has lots of amenities.

The host, Jennifer, was incredible! Prior to our arrival we were concerned about the wildfire in Yosemite about 20 minutes fron the guest house.1. We are from out of state 2. It closed the gate we had planned on using. We didn't know how concerned we should be. I reach out to Jennifer addressing our concerns and she quickly put my family and I's worries at ease. Not only did she reassure us that the fire was no concern to her residence, she gave us the next best gate to use and assured us if it would ever become a concern she'd be the first to let us know. She happened to arrive home as we were first arriving. She gave us a warm welcome and talk to us for a while. She talked through things that were available to do in the area and gave us a few recommendations for dinner. The inside of the guest house is very nice. It was comfortable and made us feel like it was a bit like a home away from home. She has a comprehensive binder with the "house rules", along with recommendations for the area and pamphlets for many destinations. The beds were very comfortable, even the additional twin bed that was set up to accommodate the size of our family. Everything was clean and as described. Jennifer is an amazing host, who seems to genuinely care about her guests. She was quick to answer any questions that I had. The property is located close to Yosemite and Bass Lake. The neighbors are far enough away that you don't get a ton of noise from them. There is a nice outdoor patio area. If I ever find myself back in this area I know where to go!

When we stepped into Kin House, it felt like stepping into a garden, which was meticulously taken care of. Everything- -beds, living room area, bathroom, and tea table-whispered warm personality of the gardener. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Jennifer was very responsive and accommodated our needs promptly. Staying at this place for 5 days and 4 nights made our visit to Yosemite even more memorable. We strongly recommend this place.

There is only a portable a/c There is no sink to wash the dishes, therefore it is done by the host. We felt bad that someone else had to do our dishes. The host told us that they are planing to remodel and change that and upgrade a few things. Than it will truly be perfect.

The proximity to Yosemite and the town. The abundance of games for the kids The warm hospitality of the host The Disney+ on tv :-) The kids had a place to run around, and the fact that there are 2 rooms (bad room and a living room), is a huge plus when traveling with kids!

Excellent place to stay - so much more than just a room. Lots of room to spread out and enjoy the stay.
