This VRBO had everything we needed and was in a GREAT location. It is really close to a beach and a lookout that’s great for sunsets and we ended up loving the mountain views from the patio. The added bonus of having some beach chairs and towels to use ended up really coming in handy! The place is cute and cozy and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had everything we needed for stay, kitchen was stocked, beach items were included- cooler, chairs and towels. Martie was so helpful with promptly answering any questions we had. The location is so beautiful especially looking out the lanai to the mountains, foilage and even a rainbow welcomed us our first morning there. We were able to walk down to Hideaway Beach (wear appropriate footwear, its steep) and we also walked over to Queens bath (again wear good footwear). Since there is no washer and dryer, we are thankful we planned accordingly. Thanks again Martie. We definitely recommend.

It’s a perfect location if you want to explore the area for the price
It’s a little harder to get to the beach because you have to walk down the steep hill, but the views are amazing.
The only negative we had about the condo was it needed more towels, you get 4 towels total for 3 night stay. The beach towels are old and worn, The bed pillows were extremely dirty and uncomfortable. sitting out on the deck was a little tough because it was not very clean and patio furniture was questionable.
When we went to use the dishes, they were also some plates that were dirty. You have to wash your own dishes and I don’t think the people before us did. They should check before the rent it that it is clean. Little things like the lamp shades were dirty. All that adds up, just need a good clean.
The condo space is comfortable, quiet and accommodating,
I would recommend but know it’s the location and quite that makes this a good place to stay.

Look at the listing very carefully!
My husband I and visit Kauai almost every year. We always book a condo with at least 1 bedroom because I go to bed earlier than him. So imagine my surprise when we check in and this is a studio, even though the listing clearly states 1 BEDROOM. I messaged the property manager and she replied that in the description it says “hotel room style accommodations”. We have stayed in many hotels where they do have bedrooms inside the room. So describing it as "hotel style accommodations" doesn't accurately convey the layout of the listing and is purposefully misleading especially since VRBO allows rentals to be listed as studios.
The pictures provided with the listing are cleverly taken and none of them show the room in its entirety (even though it is possible to take a picture of the whole room).
That being said, the room was updated with newer flooring and kitchenette. We did make a trip to Costco the day after we checked in to purchase pillows, linens and beach towels. The pillows were absolutely gross if you looked under the pillow case. The did provide beach towels but they were older and small.
It's an acceptable space if you know what you are getting.

We loved our time in Princeville. The apartment itself was gorgeous, well stocked, and had a lovely balcony. Bed was comfy and there were plenty of linens as well as some extra beach supplies such as chairs. We didn’t end up using them but appreciated that they were available. Martie the manager was easy to get ahold of and was very helpful with any questions we had. There was easy parking and though the road to Hanalei had some delays it was a great location and wonderful home base.

Hale Moi is a great place to stay for couples visiting North Shore. Close to Hanalei Bay and beautiful beaches like Hideaway or Queens Bath. Studio is well equipped for basic needs. Bed is comfortable. Views from balcony for lush tropical forest and mountains behind are relaxing and breathtaking. We really enjoyed 6 nights in Hale Moi. Both thumbs up.

No stove but there is an instant pot and grill so you can plan most meals around those two cooking methods. Also plenty of great restaurants within 15 minutes. We loved Kalypso! Martie provided a goodie basket of masks, coffee, mac nuts, and other goods; as well as kitchen essentials, beach towels, and beach gear in a chest outside. The entire place was very clean and the balcony was wonderful! It was clear that we chose a great spot from the get go and were very appreciative of all the little things Martie provided to make our stay comfortable:) Great location too.

Absolutely loved this place! It will be our new “go-to” spot on Kaua’i and we have stayed in two different Airbnbs/Vrbos in the past. Beautiful view, comfortable space, great for two people, has everything you could need (loved that you had an electric kettle in addition to the coffee pot for us tea drinkers!). Will be our new “go to” spot on on the island!
My husband and I loved our recent experience staying at Martie’s rental. We both agreed that this was the best Airbnb/Vrbo we’ve stayed at so far on Kaua’i! (We’ve stayed at 2 others in the past). All the conveniences (beach towels, chairs, boogie boards, hot water kettle, nice bed, plenty of towels, nice furnishings, beautiful view!) were great along with quick replies from Martie to our questions, the walk-ability to the beach, and easy door code check ins. HIGHLY recommend and will be back again!
