First, I will start by saying house is stunning, and the location is fantastic. Shortly after we checked in and started having some issues with the toilets, clogging heavy, wrought iron gates coming off the hinges with just normal operation and loose railing around the patio area. Each day of our stay presented a new maintenance issue that we contacted the management company. Probably the biggest disappointment was the Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom did not work during our stay. After recapping these issues with to the management company upon check out, the message was acknowledged by saying “the owner has been made aware”. No action was taken. I sent a message asking if I would be entitled to a discount due to non-operational amenities and having to deal with clogged bathrooms as well as a multitude of maintenance issues. That message was ignored. The management was quick to respond to the messages during our stay but it didn’t change what we had to deal with after paying a substantial amount of money to find a home with so many issues. We spent much of our time there trying to remedy the issues. Overall the frustration took away from what we hoped to be the highlight of the year for our family.

This was our second year in a row staying at this cabin and it did not disappoint. The weather was beautiful and we were able to enjoy the lake and all the lake toys that come with this rental. We spent every morning fishing off the dock and enjoyed paddle boarding the lake. The kitchen was clean and spacious. We spent many nights sitting around the island making memories. We will definitely be returning.

This lakefront home is lovely and the view is gorgeous! The property is well-laid out, the decks are spacious and each level in the backyard is beautiful. We love traveling with our dog and this place did not disappoint for a weekend getaway! It was extremely pet-friendly and well maintained. The pet armoire was a thoughtful touch - it was stocked with toys, extra water bowls and blankets. For those with pets, note the backyard only shares a fence with one of the two neighboring properties. We loved playing in the water and sunning ourselves on the dock. The private beach is truly incredible, and you can tell the owners take great care to keep it pristine. Lounging under the pergola and listening to the Sonos sound system was the perfect way to unwind. The backyard is very tranquil - lots of bird watching - but watch for falling pinecones. Be prepared for pine needles everywhere. It'd be nice if the deck, tables and loungers were swept prior to arrival but we took care of that ourselves. On our second night, the power went out around the entire lake on for about 10 minutes. We found a lighter and were able to light some candles. The max jacuzzi temp was 101 degrees and we thought maybe it was due to the power outage. Not as warm as we'd have hoped for on a cool fall evening. The bed in the primary was too firm for our liking. Aside from that, we do plan to visit with more family when it's warmer so we can paddle board and take advantage of all the other awesome water toys!

And cleanliness not spotless in my taste as I am Japanese and we don’t allow shoes in the home and have high expectations for cleanliness: No cleaning supplies like vacuum or swifter so next time I will bring my own. This is the most gorgeous and spacious house with the most beautiful view. This house makes you feel so peaceful. The surround sound stereo system that is all throughout the house, and outside on every level including the fire pit was such a treat. All the water toys including kayakes, paddle boards and water trampoline was such a hit for the whole family. This place is so special!

Check in was perfect Jessica checked us in and she was amazing and knew so much about the property and then once we got in and wondered around we were in aww the house and decor and room sizes were amazing. There is so much to say about this property I do not have enough room to write it all but we stay in many large lake front cabins in big bear and so far this is my family’s favorite. Two very special things about this cabin that is important for renters to know is the gas fire pit by the lake for s’mores and relaxing by at night under the stars is very unique. The other is the private beach is completely soft sand we went from the sand. The kayaks and paddle boards they have for you there with the sand beach was perfect for my kids. This place deserves 5 stars there is nothing it does not have and I can’t wait to come back my wife agreed that I’m overly picky when we stay somewhere I find something I wish was different but this place has it all. And the backyard from the cabin down to the beach was so well though out it’s incredible l. And ask for Jessica to check you in she’s a sweetheart and funny

This is the absolute best rental! We have been staying at big bear for many years and just in the last few years have been staying on the lake. All the properties we have stayed have been nice with beautiful views but this one is far superior. To begin with the floor plan is wonderful. It’s all in the same floor, the rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is gorgeous, there is so much space and it’s comfortable. The views are breathtaking all looking out on the lake. This is one of the only properties that has a sandy beach. My kids played in the sand the whole time. The dock is also very nice and well maintained. The property is beautiful and lush. We loved the fire pit at night. We had a gorgeous sunset while the kids did s’mores. The house is the most well equipped property we have ever stayed at. They had a ton of blankets, dog stuff, towels, detergent, the kitchen is well stocked, they have life vests, wet suits, paddle boards, they even provide doggie bags. The instructions they provide are so clear and well written. We have never stayed at a property that provides so much. The owners have thought of everything. They have a big first aid kit…I mean they thought if everything to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. The management company is also top notch. They have wonderful Communication!!! I am so incredibly impressed with everything about this property. Definitely a perfect place To rent with a few families, or just yourself.

This property was better than advertised! We plan to make this an annual trip with the family! Property was clean, everything worked, kitchen was fully stocked, grounds were well maintained and it was quiet. Thank you for providing a wonderful home!

Cabin was well stocked in the kitchen and over all clean, the beds were a little lumpy from what everyone said, time to upgrade all of them I think for this rental price range, master bed was ok/good, and master bath was nice, the living room and all out door spaces were very comfortable. 2 washers and dryers was a bonus to have, The jacuzzi and game room were nice too, we would rent this space again!!

Beautiful house in a great location with everything we needed. Host was very detailed from beginning to end. My parents and brother were visiting from Texas and they absolutely loved everything.

My husband and I loved this property. First of all, whoever decorated it, did a terrific job. It’s adorable. The check-in was extremely professional. Everything you could think of was there for you to use. It was comfortable and clean. It was in a stunning location. We already booked another time to come back.

We had such a good time! We enjoyed the Kayaking, bonfire, and the snow! The beautiful view is incredible. Bobby who checked us in was very helpful! We will be back - the cabin was perfect!!

The property is wonderful! The thought put into this house is exceptional. We had a family of 4 with two young adult men, and a family of 3 with a 5 year old. We were more than comfortable in this house with plenty of room and privacy for us all. The beds were all comfortable and the water pressure is great! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and so much fun to gather with everyone around the large island while we cooked on the massive gas stove. The large cast iron flat top was great for making all the breakfast fixings in the mornings. The hot tub was a great way to spend the evenings after skiing the slopes during the day. We enjoyed smores around the fire pit down by the beach as well. I would highly recommend staying here - the views are breathtaking.
