Bienvenue au Perfect Beach Cottage! Ce cottage classique met l'accent sur tout ce qui concerne Folly Beach! Animaux acceptés avec quai, terrasse sur le toit et juste en face de la plage. Le 1630 East Ashley est un 2 chambres / 2 salles de bain pouvant accueillir confortablement 5 personnes et sera une destination familiale pour les années à venir!
En arrivant à la maison, la première chose que vous remarquerez est le grand porche qui longe East Ashley, idéal pour un café matinal ou une sieste après une longue journée sur la plage. Le salon principal de la maison comprend un plan d'étage ouvert avec salon et cuisine combinés. La pièce à vivre est équipée d'une télévision à écran plat, de sièges confortables et d'un futon pour dormir davantage. Une table à manger familiale sépare le salon de la cuisine et conviendra parfaitement aux repas en famille ou aux soirées de jeux. La cuisine a un grand comptoir, un réfrigérateur en acier inoxydable, un four électrique / cuisinière, un four micro-ondes, un lave-vaisselle et toutes les commodités que même le chef le plus avisé apprécierait.
La chambre principale est à l'arrière de la maison avec un lit king size, une télévision à écran plat et une vue sur les marais! La chambre a salle de bain complète avec combo douche / baignoire ainsi que l'accès au porche arrière. Les nouveaux draps dans toute la maison ne font qu'ajouter à cet attrait immobilier. La deuxième chambre a une télévision à écran plat et un lit queen. Le dernier bain est à l’arrière de la maison avec douche à l’italienne. La laveuse / sécheuse est également situé dans cette grande salle de bains pour plus de commodité.
L'arrière de la maison est le lieu de prédilection pour les sorties avec son porche et son pont sur le toit offrant une vue panoramique sur la faune des bas-pays. Les vues incluent le pont de la rivière Cooper ainsi que le phare de Morris Island.
Le seul qui peut profiter de la maison plus que votre famille peut être votre ami à quatre pattes velu! La maison accepte les animaux de compagnie et, avec la cour arrière clôturée, vous profiterez du temps de détente en compagnie de votre animal de compagnie préféré. Very nice location, clean and adorable beach house. Came well equipped. Being November, we enjoyed the fireplace.

We have stayed on this property with different owners and loved it because we could bring our little yorkie. We now have kids so its hard to accommodate us and my sister but we brought a tent and it was perfect! There were some things we saw that needed updating but they did not interfere with our trip. The microwave numbers flashed the whole time so you couldn’t set the time. The side door needs new weatherstripping because it’s completely gone. We love the front porch for eating and listening to the ocean, I could sit out there all day. The king bed is very comfortable. The beach access is across the street but the last step was missing, which is not safe, I guess its from sand erosion. The roof top deck is great if you want to be high up, we never sat out there because the front porch is the best! The driveway is great for parking. We have to bring a small trailer for our luggage and bikes and its great to be able to park safely and not on the street. And we love to rent a golf cart and park it easily too. It was a great stay, wish we could have bought it when the previous owners sold it. Its a great beach house. Thanks

The location was fantastic and we appreciated the fact that it was dog friendly. However, the floor was apparently covered in individual square floor tiles at least three of which were not adhered properly and kept moving around presenting a tripping/slipping hazard. The screen door to the backyard had no handle on the outside and the door had to be lifted up to get it opened rendering it impossible for my 7-year-old to use without assistance. The screen door to the backyard was rotted and splitting apart on the outside and had plastic chicken wire around it. The upper deck was an accident waiting to happen with a very wobbly railing which made it extremely unsafe to use. The backyard looked very nice, and the dock was nice, but the hammock was just a waste of space as there was a gaping hole in the netting which made it unsafe and unusable. There were 5 rusted bikes under the house all with no caps on the air valves on the tires, so all tires were flat. The only tire pump was completely rusted and barely worked. The washer/dryer was a small stacked unit which was difficult with a family of 5. FYI - A/C can be set no lower than 72 and during the day cannot keep up with heat. Safety issues should be addressed immediately.

We had a wonderful stay on Folly Beach and we were comfortable in this sweet little house. We were very grateful to find a place close to the beach where we could also bring our dog. The house itself is cute and we loved the front porch especially.
When we arrived, we encountered a few issues, but the Carolina One managers were quick to remedy the issues.
As other reviewers have noted, you will need to bring a pillow if you have specific pillow needs. We also would have given the place five stars but it needs some TLC going forward — we noticed a good bit of wear and tear indicative of a well-loved home that needs some attention.
Lastly, if you are coming in the summer months, bring mosquito repellent. The mosquitoes on the marsh side were out in force.

The cottage is small, but it had everything we needed for a family of 4: parents and kids ages 21 and 17.
The house was very clean when we arrived - plenty of towels.
We just had one problem getting in the front door (perhaps we entered the wrong code too many times?), but customer service was responsive and very helpful with that.
We really liked sitting on the front porch. The house is not right on the beach, but is only 1 row back, so we could still see the beach.
Getting to the beach was relatively easy: there are 2 public access bridges within walking distance. The one a little further north at Ocean Street has a ramp all the way to the beach -- which is easier if you're pulling a wagon.
Great location. The area is quiet. It's about a 5 min drive to the restaurants/shops -- not walking distance.
Getting to downtown Charleston and other attractions, like Patriots Point, is a relatively short drive, about 20-30 min.

This was our homebase on the island while we had our beach wedding. It is classic Folly, and charmingly eclectic. Watching the sunset or having coffee on the widows walk were some of our best times. Loved the two porches! Our dog was so happy with the backyard and the little dock. Great place!

Pros: We loved that it was dog friendly. The location is amazing - just a few houses down from a walkable beach access. It’s further away from the downtown of Folly Beach so it’s nice and quiet. Morris Lighthouse is also a short walk or bike away. Great amenities with provided beach chairs, kayaks, grill, etc. Communication with the company was fast, easy, and clear. Check in was easy. About 30 minutes from downtown Charleston.
Cons: Floors were wonky - can roll cans down some of the rooms. Furniture was dated. House holds 5 people but dining room table only seats 4. Could use more silverware and coffee cups - had to do daily loads. Certain appliances (like a fan in one room) didn’t work. There were several lightbulbs out on the front and back porches. Couldn’t find a pair of scissors.

Master bed Terrible, floors nasty and not level ,food dried on counter tops ,oven nasty, couldn't use grill it was so nasty, tv didn't work in second bedroom until we called twice, picture are deceiving. House was just nasty I had to clean it before we could start our vacation. Property Management should check these houses out before renter get there. I love Folly but was very disappointed I will never stay there again.

House is on a nice lot and very close to public beach access (easy walking distance). We enjoyed all the choices for outdoor seating (depending on what the weather was) and there was plenty of space to park. The kayakers in our group went on several adventures with the boats and we all had a great weekend!

Nasty house
House was nasty !!!!!!!!! Wonderful time with wife and daughter. All amenities were there, my great wife who has dementia truly enjoyed playing corn hole at sunset in the creek. Great memories!

Wonderful property
This house is wonderful but it is the outdoor space that is spectacular : fenced yard, roof deck, screened porch, dock and front porch. Everything you need for Fun and comfort while traveling with your family pet.

We have stayed 2 other times on Kiawah but never on Folly & now we are wondering why we never checked out Folly Beach!The cottage was perfect for us! We brought our dog & Kayaks with us. The beach access is just a few houses down & dogs are allowed on the beach this time of year. Our dog absolutely loved his daily walks on the beach. The cottage sits on the marsh side with a pier that is accessible to the river during high tides and part of low tides. We kayaked to the light house a couple of different times & saw dolphins each time. The beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of cooking supplies in the kitchen. And, we really enjoyed the gas fireplace. Can't say enough about how much we really enjoyed the Folly Beach Getaway Cottage. In fact, we have already booked it for next Christmas break!

The house was perfect for a COVID break. It was so close to the beach, enabling us to walk every day. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dog. We could not have asked for a more perfect place to enjoy Folly Beach.

This house had everything with we wanted while also being simple. Multiple porches on which to enjoy the view with a glass of wine or cup of coffee, kayaks, beach bikes, and more! Super comfortable and a great way to enjoy the beach.

We really enjoyed the location, easy access to the beach, and the incredible sunsets in the backyard across the marsh. Everything was as described, sufficient for our needs and made our stay relaxing and worry-free. The only minor inconvenience was that the house wasn't cleaned to my wife's standards when we arrived and she spent the first 30 minutes scrubbing down surfaces. Overall though, the amenities and location made up for it and we were quickly in vacation mode. The beach was about 1.5-2 minute walk to the left. There is no parking for the public at the beach access, so the beach remained quiet the whole time and we rarely had anyone within 100 yards of us the Holiday week. The Marsh was so relaxing as well and a nice break when we didn't want to get sandy or wanted to enjoy a drink in the sun. Great little getaway, well deserving of it's name.
