Splendido!
The apartment was bigger than we expected, it is an entire house with a separated kitchen/terrace with no shared rooms. Other b&bs in the area have the same price for much less space.
Exceptionally clean!
Hair dryer, soap, shampoo, water and packaged breakfast included (the breakfast is small and packaged only because of covid).
Welcoming host, he sent us messages the day of to make sure we knew how to arrive and to help us find parking. He met us at the apartment at the exact time we said we’d arrive.
It is right in the center of the town, near a well-lit, frequented area, but on a quiet street.
Everything was perfect.
Only possible negative aspect: the stairs are quite steep and a fall down them would be dangerous. For us (a young couple), this was perfectly fine, but it may be difficult for elderly or for someone with young children. The bedroom door does lock, so with a young child you could lock the door to avoid accidental falls.

Communications with the hoster went very well, she was very forthcoming. The apartment is really cute and nice, neat, clean, well equiped and modern, it was perfect for our 3 days stay in the Puglia region. Highly recommended !
Just one little thing: wifi network was down during our stay (but that was not that much annoying).

A lovely location in the heart of Castellana with a friendly host who took a real interest in our visit to the city. The ground floor room is well-appointed with stylish and new furniture! Lovingly restored.
Wifi would have been handy, but to be honest, we wouldn't have needed for more than 20 mins.
