Breakfasts were excellent. Friendly helpful staff We arrived at the hotel around 11h00 after an overnight stop. We were allowed check in AND get a gioffee and small breakfast before showering. A very helpful gesture from the hotel after a night flight.

The location was perfect! The staff was very helpful and the room was spacious and very nice!

Everything was fine. The only thing that we were a little bit disappointed about was that we expected from the pictures to have a terrace accesible in the roof as seen in the pictures but looks like it is only for specific rooms.

The breakfast at the Obelisk was stellar. It is prepared and laid out like a feast each morning with eggs, friuit, cheeses, and dozens of other treats that are nutritious and delightful. Compared to America’s finest hotels with their “ free” breakfasts- I’d give them a “1” and the Obelisk a “10”- with 10 being the uttermost excellence.

No complaints- even the cleaning lady is a smiling Angel!

Location of this hotel is very close to major attractions. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We will come back here again.

I travelled from Alaska, U.S.A. and this hotel was the meeting place with my Russian Girlfriend. Everything about this Hotel was fabulous. The entire friendly and helpful staff, the free breakfast, the rooms, the spectacuiar views , the clean rooms and bedding and more.... I shall stay again in Istanbul AND specifically at this Hotel !! Thanks to the Obelisk !

Location is close to the Grand Bazaar and other historical places but Istanbul has so much more to offer. So, if you can avoid these busy touristic areas that are expensive and you won't see the true Istanbul.

The hotel and the pictures are not accurate. The breakfast hall and the garden pictures are almost fake. The breakfast which is described as very good breakfast offer below average breakfast. Coffee is instant. The green is rotten. The plates were empty most of the times and I had to keep asking the staff to fill it up. The breakfast hall is dirty, cluttered with rubbish around. The garden is dead, cluttered, and full of rubbish in every corner. The hotel is very very sad and it needs a proper refurb and cleaning. The rooms are tiny and clustrophobic. What the hotel offer you is not even bare minimum and the price you pay because of it's location is NOT worth it. Some of the hotel staff see you as money only, so they try to sell you expensive boat tours which you should definitely avoid because they are overpriced, food quality is shocking and the experience isn't great. You can definitely find better alternatives by exploring yourself.

Was noisy. Night staff were far better then day staff. Breakfast was horrific. Presentation of breakfast needs updating. Totally unappetising. Restaurant was Dirty tables not properly laid.

I have requested a taxi to take me from the airport to hotel and I have waited more than 30 min waiting him and finally I took a normal airport taxi to come to hotel then the hotel was telling me that the taxi was waiting you but in fact I called the taxi and he keep saying I need 20 min to reach to airport that show un-respect of time and guest also the second point which I didn’t like that the negotiation concept for taxi fees, the hotel doesn’t have a fixed rate so if you are good in negotiation you will get a better price than other guest which is not fair

Excellent location, great room, incredible staff

Absolutely nothing

This hotel was a perfect fit for us. We didn’t want to live on a busy street but we also wanted to be close to the main attractions. The hotel is situated perfectly, it’s just 2 minutes walking distance to Blue Mosque. Also we really liked the view from our room, it’s mesmerizing! On one side we have Blue Mosque on the other we have Sea of Marmara.

During breakfast there wasn’t any music in the restaurant. I know that it’s cheesy to say but it would be great to have some background sounds while you are eating ☺️
