Location was good for tiny Las Galeras. Must have a car or be calling a ride, tho, for anything because the restaurant is off limits. That was in the listing, so be prepared. Nice little beach nearby. Pool was cool and clean. Elin who got us set up with key, wifi, info and a leak/repair was great and communicative. Roomy place for 2 and it can sleep a few kids in beds in loft which we didn't even use. LOTS of beach towels (which we needed for a leak). Patio was large and we used it for breeze, to eat, to relax. Newer washer was a treat after 2 weeks on the road. Bed was comfortable.

I think the place is a bit weary--a bit older, a touch musty. Challenges we faced: washer had no instructions, so we had water everywhere; wifi was not provided when we arrived (and we work remotely) and it was a hot spot with uneven reliability (typical for the area, I know); kitchen was not cleaned well nor very organized; a good wiping and dusting would be good (lots of dust even on top of the TP holder). AC was marginal. We found it best to just keep it closed up and it would be much cooler than outside. Also, we prefer quiet, and the pool noise and music was very loud. But it did close up by 10.
