We had a great holiday in Les Mathes. We had our two dogs with us and the garden was excellent for them. Great size, secure and nice and shady. We loved going to La Palmyre which is only 5 mins away in the car. It was a shame there was no restaurants in walking distance but lots of choice in La Palmyre which we loved. The house is very roomy and Cedric and Eva were super helpful. We had a couple of days where we weren’t able to use the pool but they sorted as quickly as possible and communication was excellent!

We had a lovely stay, the house is very well equipped. My son's especially liked the games room. Loads of space for everyone, it was so comfortable we had to drag ourselves out to the beach. Cedric was very easy to deal with. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed the villa and Mathes area, all had a lovely time, however the villa is getting a bit tired and does need some attention to remain in the price range it charges.

We had a great time at this house - lots of things to do for the children both inside and out (we didn't hear or see them for three days!), superbly equipped kitchen, lovely area with beautiful beaches nearby.

We have just returned for a wonderful weeks stay at this beautiful villa in Les Mathes. There was more than enough space for a family of 10, with everything you could possibly need and more. The games room upstairs was great fun and kept us all occupied, especially on those rainy days. The pool was big and very clean and we used it every day without fail. The villa is well equipped with things for the children to do - we played with lego, boardgames and mostly all the outdoor equipment - the huge trampoline, swings and the treehouse were a big bonus for the kids! The area itself had lots to offer, we had a fabulous day at the Zoo, Youpiland, mini golf and plenty of lovely beaches to visit. Mr Archer was very welcoming and showed us how to use everything around the villa. He was even kind enough to post back something we had left behind. Thank you very much for a great holiday home! We would love to come back again!

We loved the town and walked to shop at the market each day. There was a wonderful Friday evening market, where we ate local produce with live music, with all the community. The house was well placed for visiting beautiful beaches, but some roads to the coast were busy at the weekend. We enjoyed the beach at La Coubre with its cafe/restaurant and cool woods for picnicking. We also liked the busier beach at St Palais-sur-Mer and the nearby sea-food restaurant of La Floundre. The zoo was a great hit with our grandson. The house was very well equipped for a large party of guests. Our 2 families of 5 (4 adults + 1 toddler) used the space well and we appreciated the shady garden for the baby - we took our own paddling pool for him, whilst we enjoyed the lovely swimming pool which was great in temperatures of 30C+. The house did get extremely hot, so the table on the decking was always in use for meals. The fan kept the main room cooler, but the bedrooms were difficult to keep cool during a very hot week. The proprietor was in close contact when needed and replied quickly to questions and requests. Many thanks for a great holiday. I'd definitely recommend this property to families looking for something, within a short drive of good beaches.
