unique location well appointed, high quality great internet. Netflix!!! great kitchen exceeded expectations

this is a unique location so come prepared. you have to bring your own food. the adjoining room left their outside light on all night, which detracted from the atmosphere, but this was a minor issue

they provided us with a fully equipped common kitchen with some free breakfast options like cereal. parking was free.

room was small and location of the property was too remote with bad roads.

The remotnes, surrounding, accomodation was fantastic. The kitchen is great, all you could ever ask for.

It was difficult to communicate with the owner, it took us a while to find out which toom was ours, because noone was on site, but in the end it worked out oerfectly fine.

we spent a very bad night in cottage n°16: water runs down the walls inside the bedroom. one of the beds was soaked by the dripping water and could not be used. Our son had to sleep with us. In addition, there was only one small auxiliary heater which is not sized to heat such a large space. The walls let in currents of air which cool the room. We see repairs with putty to fill the cracks in the wood of the walls. We were expecting an answer to our complain but nothing after sms and email.

may good place to see northern light, but summer time too far a way from town.

check in office around 7km a way, and check in instructions didn’t clearly give instruction, hard to find check in office.

Quiet, very nice view. Lot of facilities in the common space (kitchen, fridge, TV, coffee etc)

Bathroom rather small

The road to get there was unpaved, and it was also a little unclear how to get to both check-in and the cabins. Google Maps couldn’t find a route, and the instructions did not make it super clear.

All kitchen facilities you can imagine is there... +coffee and cereals. Very very clean and brand new. Lovely place in the middle of nothing.

Great location near Dettifoss. Good room and very conveniently equipped kitchen and common area! Just pay attention it is located on a gravel road so pay attention to your car’s tyres!

Loved this place away from everything. Owners extremely friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The location is absolutely amazing, the rooms are modern and seem to be recently renovated, the internet connection was really fast.

Heavily scented bed sheets and towels were a big minus for an allergic traveller.

Very clean room in lovely surroundings, a convenient stopping point between the North and East of Iceland. Nice views of the river and mountains. I liked that the triple and family rooms have a private entrance. Good dining room with cooking facilities and a modern spacious layout.

The road to the property is really hard to drive on- I would be very careful of doing it in a rental car. It is also very expensive for what you get, but all the guesthouses in the area are charging similar due to their remoteness.

The view is just wonderful. You are on the moon. Literraly no one no sheep no bird no animals nothing but you....magic

The room is new so everything is very comfortable. The shared kitchen is great but don’t forget to bring your breakfast

No cleaning each day

Remote location to see aurora and great views. Room was very clean, yet missing railing to hang clothes. Seemed unfinished.

Grossly overpriced (150€ night) for a nice room with inadequate shared cooking facilities if it were full. 2 cooking rings and a microwave for 20 rooms, that will need to cook as there isn`t another building for 30 km. There was no staff at all. You collect keys 10 km away and are left alone. They even forgot to lay out the included buffet breakfast on the second day.
