The house is fantastic and the owner very responsive. I agree with other reviewers that the jump down to the beach from the path was a little challenging especially with kids but that was part of our adventure. The house is very well stocked with kitchen items. Very clean and such an amazing view. One thing I couldn't tell from the posting is the road is gravel so we drove to the bike path nearby. I thought we could ride from the house but we had kids with training wheels and small bikes so that wouldn't work.

House was very clean! Close drive to restaurants and marina. Short path to beach. Drop off on to the sand. Older person or physically impaired person will not be able. We are active and in our fifties and were fine. A small challenge for us. We even took our time to maneuver corn hole(that we brought) and small cooler. Walkable distance by beach and then off street to Black beards pizza and brewery.

This property is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped for all visitors. From extra beach towels to fuzzy blankets to sand toys.... the numerous amd thoughtful touches made our sty with our family that much better. It is true that beach access from the property requires scaling a large dune drop off, but we managed with some extra boosts. If you love listening to the ocean from your kitchen, drinking your coffee on the deck warching the pelicans over the water amd having a beautiful home with all the immenities, this place is for you! We loved the quaintness and quietness of Westport and its numerous beaches to check out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We had plenty of room for the family and getting together with others who met us in town! Amazing little house with space to get away for a quiet nap if needed😁 I highly recommend

Jethro dog and I had a very nice time this past weekend. The house is beautifully decorated and in a central "base camp" for Westport and Tokeland. There was a hiccup for the check in process, but turned out well. The short hike to the beach ended with a drop off to the sand that neither of us wanted to attempt nor know how to get back up. Found puzzles, but no games. Perhaps the listing should be updated? We did have a wonderful time hiding and finding painted rocks, eating much seafood, and hiking. This was the first time I had Jethro on a road trip. Thank you for a allowing us to stay at your house!

My two daughters and I spent a week in Westport for a girls’ trip! The property was wonderful! Location was superb and the house was perfect—clean, amenities provided, and just an overall adorable place! The fireplace was a huge plus and much needed after spending time at the beach. No complaints! Thank you to James for his assistance with check in, and I loved that we had absolutely no issues with the property or house while we were there! Thank you! We would definitely go back!

What a great house for relaxing, watching the waves roll in, and beautiful sunsets. Large kitchen was great for cooking some yummy clams we dug. Huge plus that the home was dog friendly. (Crates and dog beds provided) With out a doubt we would love to stay here again! Clean, spacious, and close to everything you could need for your beach getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Cranberry Crab! The view of the surf was amazing and the house was warm & comfortable. Beds were comfortable -- except the futon downstairs. Comfortable seats in the living room, well-equipped kitchen. We'll stay again!

Quiet and peaceful place to stay and watch the ocean while sipping coffee from the living room. Gas fireplace made the ambience even better and really heated up the place. Kitchen had everything we needed. Nice trail to the beach. Thank you.

After walking through the house upon arrival, our first thought was that the pictures in the listing did not do the house justice! This place was so spacious and beautiful, the host was accommodating and communicative, and the house had everything we needed. We were able to walk out the door and surf (!), bike to town, hang out comfortably on the deck, and lounge luxuriously in the amazing living room. Our one-year-old had a blast, and it was super easy to prepare meals in the well-stocked kitchen. My one piece of advice would be to bring your own pillows. We found the ones provided (at least downstairs) to be pretty uncomfortable. Overall, an amazing experience...we hope to be back soon!

We had a lovely time. The house has a nice deck and it is a pleasant walk to the beach. The property had everything we needed.

A very comfortable home, with a more than fully stocked kitchen. Bathrooms had hair dryers and make up mirrors. You can hear the waves from every room and the sunsets are amazing.

This was our 2nd visit. We stayed over 2 weeks this time. Jim's house is very comfortable with an wonderful view of the Pacific. We slept well falling asleep to the sound of the surf. The house is stocked with everything we needed. There is a 3 minute walk to an uncrowded beach. Some mornings we had the beach to ourselves.

The property was nicely furnished and clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The beach was accessible by a 3 minute walk even though the last few feet down from the dune was a bit steep. I think this is most likely due to recent storms that have left some dune erosion all along this beach. That said, two senior citizens were able to negotiate the drop and the return climb without incident. The neighborhood was extremely quiet with no road or neighbor noise. The ocean view is great! The weather was cloudy and cool for most of our stay; I would have preferred just a bit of sun, but that is completely unpredictable in this part of the PNW. The host was readily accessible to answer any questions about his lovely beach property.

This property was true to the photos and descriptions and was a wonderful place for us to stay while exploring Westport! Check-in was a breeze and the house was very clean and welcoming. Really appreciated the little touches too, including ample towels, dog crates and beds, baby gates, and an assortment of books that helped our family and dogs feel very at ease. We loved hearing and watching the waves from the house and the decor really put us in a beach state of mind. The house is also just a short walk away from the beach so making trips to play in the sand and walk along the surf was super convenient, even with a toddler in tow. Would definitely recommend this property to others looking for a place to stay in Westport.
