L'appartement est situé dans l'un des sites historiques de Florence: via Maggio, à côté du palais Pitti et du célèbre jardin Boboli et à seulement quelques minutes à pied du Ponte Vecchio, des Offices et du quartier Santo Spirito.
La rue elle-même a toujours été la rue des antiquaires de Florence, cependant, comme elle n'est qu'à quelques pas de la place historique de Santo Spirito, le quartier est entouré de restaurants locaux typiques et de nombreux autres magasins pour chaque type de besoin.
Le Palais dans lequel est situé l’appartement, est très ancien et a appartenu à la famille Corsini jusqu'au XIXème siècle puis à la famille Rosselli del Turco. il est toujours sous la protection des Beaux-Arts et, chose rare à Florence, dispose d'un ascenseur moderne. L’appartement a conservé sa beauté authentique grâce à une restauration de haute qualité et offre toutes les commodités et le confort dont, aujourd'hui , nous ne pourrions nous passer.
Dans l'appartement il y a un salon spacieux de 40 m², une salle à manger séparée avec une table à manger pour 6 personnes et une cuisine entièrement équipée.
La chambre principale a un lit king size et une salle de bain complète avec douche.
La deuxième chambre a également un lit king size et les deux chambres ont des dessins originaux sur les murs. Il y a une deuxième salle de bain avec une immense douche.
Dans le loft, il y a un autre lit king size et une salle de bain complète avec douche.
Dans l'appartement il y a la climatisation dans toutes les chambres et l’ accès internet WIFI. L’ensemble fait environ 130 m2.
La rénovation a été achevée en octobre 2013, l'appartement est donc flambant neuf et précis dans les moindres détails. Depuis lors, un lustre vénitien supplémentaire a été installé dans la salle à manger.

Surrounded by restaurants. 😉 Didn’t care for the bath down a few stairs from the second bedroom. Internet was weak but we enjoyed our stay and cooking breakfast in the kitchen. Just 20 minutes walk from the train station.

We LOVED the apartment. It was large, nicely furnished, air-conditioned, clean, and in a great location, just steps from the Piti Palace and Boboli Gardens. Francoise was so obliging to let us check in early. Visited Rome, Florence and Paris and this was the nicest apartment we stayed in. Will stay there again! Thank you Francoise!

Quiet and well equipped with very comfortable beds and good air conditioning. We had rented in Oltrarno previously and were familiar with the neighborhood’s many benefits. Excellent restaurants nearby. Communication with Francoise was always very prompt, which was much appreciated.

The apartment is a block from the Santo Spirito Piazza, a few feet to Pitti Palace, and an easy walk to the bridge across to the center of Florence. We had everything we needed. It is very spacious and nicely decorated. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations provided by the landlord. We had a little noise during the night from street traffic, but it did not disrupt our sleep. We had trouble getting a taxi when leaving, as there seemed to be a problem the day we left & we were not the only ones. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Huge apartment with room to spread out for our family of four and my mom. Everyone had their own room and bathroom, and my kids especially loved having the upstairs loft and bathroom to themselves. Great location with tons of shops and restaurants around, and just a couple minutes of walking to get to Pitti palace, Boboli gardens, and the bridge. We did a food tour and three of the stops were literally in our neighborhood, the restaurants couldn’t beat. Highly recommend.

The location and the size of the apartment was great. It did feel a bit closed in because of the layout of the windows… and it was hot in Florence and the air conditioning was struggling. We were notified of a leak that had compromised the upstairs bathroom which was out of order for most of our stay.. a very musty smell and a constant drip which we had to dodge outside the main bedrooms… the owner didn’t offer any compensation for this and was a bit rude when I let him know he should get a plumber sooner rather than later… I would definitely offer some form of compensation to guests … the property manager was very helpful and met us on arrival and let us in when we arrived … so we couldn’t fault his management.. however dealing with the owner was not so easy.

Our stay at Francoise's apartment was awesome. Good neighborhood out of the main crowded area of Florence, but a quick walk to where ever we needed to go. The washer/dryer did not work well for us because it took a long time, but we found a laundromat within a 10 minute walk which was very good. We would definitely stay there again!

This apartment worked really. well for our family. Five minute walk to a market or to nice eateries on quaint little Piazza San Spirito and 15-20 minute walk to all the sights of historic Florence. Owner was very responsive to any questions.

We will highly recommend this property! The location was fantastic — walkable to everything we wanted to see and do yet also felt quiet and peaceful when we wanted time to relax after a busy day of traveling. The kitchen is well stocked. Franchise and Jo made it very easy for us to settle in. When it was time to leave, it was a brief walk to a taxi stand.

This spacious, well equipped and beautiful apartment located in the Santo Spiritu neighborhood was relaxing to return to after the crowds and very busy days enjoying the great sights nearby across the Ponte Vecchio. This was a perfect location for our family visit to our son who is doing a college semester abroad in Firenze. The local neighborhood is filled with excellent cafes and restaurants. All the rest that Firenze has to offer is no more than a 20 minute walk. The property was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Francois and assistant Jo were excellent communicators, quickly responsive and very flexible when our arrival times changed. Overall perfect place for our family!

Great location steps from Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio, shops and restaurants. Beautifully renovated apartment with well stocked kitchen and laundry. On fifth floor with choice of stairs or elevator. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved our stay here and highly recommend!! Our only suggestion would be to have a rail for the few steps to bedrooms, one person in our party had mobility issues

Francoise has an absolute gem of an apartment. This place is HUGE. Plenty of space.. It is 2 bedrooms and a loft bedroom with 3 bathrooms. Living room, dining room, BAR, kitchen. It's absolutely lovely. The only thing that was difficult was getting to it. If you have a car, the parking garage is over a mile away. In the scheme of things it is not that far.. But when loaded down with luggage, etc - it was quite the hike. There is a bus you can take (which we thought we were taking) but for whatever reason the gent who was kind enough to show us the garage and get us in - decided to walk us to the apt. It really was the only thing that took away from this fabulous place right in the heart of everything. Neither of us have any disabilities so, honestly, we were fine.. it just was unexpected and wore us out. Other than that - as I have said - the apartment, the area, working with Francoise was perfection. I absolutely LOVED this apartment and Firenze and wish I could go back RIGHT NOW. Thank you, Francoise, for the use of your apartment. We truly loved it.

Our stay was last minute and Francoise was graciously accommodating. The home was absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with for any questions or inquiries. The location is quiet yet close to the city center action. Granddaughter immediately claimed the loft bedroom and was so happy. Daughter-in-law loved the kitchen and washing machine. We all loved the comfort and having a real respite from the bustling city around us. And a perfect location!!!

Wonderful property and plenty of space to spread out! We stayed with our two adult children and the only complaint is it is a bit hot in the loft area, even with the AC on so sleeping there isn’t ideal. Otherwise, plenty of bathrooms and comfortable beds. Within a few minutes’ walk to cafes and stores where we had some fabulous pasta and sat outside enjoying the beautiful weather. Highly recommend a Vespa tour of wine country, it was a highlight! Our host was very accommodating with our changing schedules and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!

I have brought both friends and family to this apartment. It is in such a perfect location between Spirito and Pitti Palace and is surrounded by some of the best restaurants. Lovely stay with nothing missing.
