Construite en 2002, la maison dispose de tout le confort moderne (chauffage à air pulsé, climatisation, four micro-ondes, lave-vaisselle, cuisinière électrique et four) et de tout le confort souhaité pendant ce week-end d’évasion. Les deux chambres ont des lits queen et leur propre salle de bain avec douche. Le canapé dans le salon se lit dans un lit queen très confortable. Il y a une laveuse / sécheuse aussi. Les chambres et le salon sont recouverts de moquette pour une chaleur agréable. La cuisine, le coin repas et les couloirs sont carrelés. L'immense terrasse possède une salle à manger intégrée et constitue l'endroit idéal pour s'asseoir et regarder la faune et les couchers de soleil incroyables.

Il se trouve à seulement 1,5 km du centre-ville et encore moins de nombreux sentiers de randonnée, des niveaux de difficulté les plus faciles à modérés aux plus ardus. Nous avons même découvert que la maison se trouvait à moins de 50 mètres du populaire et facile Ernie Maxwell Trail, qui relie également Humber Park.
Quand nous arrivons à Idyllwild, nous trouvons que nos week-ends durent très longtemps, car le temps semble ralentir lorsque nous nous détendons et profitons simplement de la beauté de la région.

We had the very best time! Everything was so clean and there were so many kitchen appliances to use. We managed to make a delicious pot roast in the crockpot. Unexpectedly, it snowed. Suzanne was kind enough to send someone to shovel the stairs and driveway for us. We have found our home away from home!

This is a lovely home in a beautiful neighborhood with beautiful view and wrap around deck. The home layout is perfect for a family. It is also pet friendly which was very important to us as we have never left the dogs or kids in the care of others. The village is quaint & very lively. Pizza place is very good, but very busy. The location was perfect. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Overall we are very satisfied with our stay. I had to contact Suzanne, the owner, several times due to my own fault, yet she has been very patient and helpful to me. The bathrooms were very clean. The kitchen had almost everything we need. This is our first time to this area. The downtown of Idyllwild is small. There are not many stores compared to Lake Arrowhead or Big Bear. But we walked around, took some photos and came back to the cabin resting, chatting, cooking together. We felt comfortable and relaxed staying warm inside when it was raining and cold outside. We found out there are many painted deer scattered around the town. They are very beautiful and colorful. It is fun to locate them and take photos with them. The reception of cell phone there was excellent too.

I loved the house/cabin. Everything was perfect. So wonderfully quiet and close to everything. Getting to Ernie Maxwell trail from the wash up the road was treacherous and I would not recommend unless you have really good balance and experience walking up extremely steep sandy hills. However. once you get the the top, the Ernie Maxwell trail is easy when going to the right and really beautiful. I loved it. I went to the end and walked back to cabin on streets which was really great too. The houses along the way are fantastic.

This rental is about as perfect as a rental can be. The location (up in the hills a bit) was beautiful, quiet, and, even though there were residences a 100 or so feet away, the place felt secluded. Inside, the place was immaculate, the heating system worked wonderfully, and the hot water was actually hot! (I really dislike rental that keep the water temp down in order to save a few buck). The main room was well lit with proper lighting. The kitchen was well stocked with basic essentials.
The only thing to be beware of is that there are stairs to get to the house that might be difficult for those with walking problems. The town is a little over a mile away which is just right for those that like to take walks (but the way back to the house is all uphill!!). The only down rating I would give this house is the TV...in this age of large screens the TV seemed small and, unfortunately, this model had poor sound quality.
Thus, this place was 99.44% perfect...it's hard to get better than that!

We made a return visit to this wonderful Idyllwild cabin for a brief two-night getaway with another couple. It felt like coming home as this cabin is so warm and extremely functional. The setting is so beautiful with trees surrounding the property which gives it plenty of privacy. As always, the place I was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We just love this place!!!

We wanted Celebrating our 25th Anniversary to be special. So, we booked a cabin in the Idyllwild area where we could enjoy US! The cabin was spacious and yet cozy. Surrounded by an outside deck that let us appreciate the trees, the birds, squirrels, rabbits and FRESH FRESH AIR!! The mattresses in the bedrooms were excellent. Allowing for a good nights rest before taking off to the trails. Situated just driving minutes from downtown Idyllwild made for convenient walks around the shops. Suzanne was a pleasant and friendly host. She has the cabin set up with everything needed in the kitchen and throughout making life EZ. Considering that the cost to rent the entire cabin was about 1/2 of a good hotel room in the hustle and bustle of San Diego, I believe we made the right choice. We will be returning!

Everything was great for a quick getaway to the mountains! The cabin was clean and ready early for check in. We loved hanging out on the deck and watching the wildlife. The kitchen had everything for us to stay in and cook, and Suzanne even gave us some great recommendations for live music in town…would definitely stay again

This property is so nicely appointed. Everything a visitor could need or want from Adirondack chairs on the deck to night lights. Very clean and comfortable. The sunset views were great. Exactly what we wanted in a mountain getaway.

Just a relaxing feeling , both bedrooms where VERY COMFORTABLE each had a different theme in its own way still cowboy but unique wrought iron fixtures
(one was Owls the other was Wolf )
And if i needed to contact the owner for any reason i had no trouble not only contacting her
But with a quick solution solving what ever problem

We didn't want to leave !!!! =)

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home, with total privacy in the midst of huge old oaks and manzanitas. The owner was extremely helpful and gracious, and the home was perfect in every way. Relaxing on the deck in the shade of the oaks, watching the squirrels and birds, was a delight. Don’t miss the nearby Ernie Maxwell Scenic Trail, it’s as refreshing and scenic as anywhere in California. Highly recommend!

Our first trip to Idylwild turned out to be one of the most relaxing experiences of our lives thanks to this lovely home perched high above it all!!
It’s location is ideal, with a view toward the sunset and a short, steep scramble to the Ernie Maxwell Trail. It has a large private deck under beautiful trees that house a multitude of birds and squirrels. (Bring some Black Oil Sunflower Seed bird mix and unsalted peanuts to make new friends!)
The home itself has huge windows oriented to the best views and comfortable furnishings. It is fully stocked, charmingly decorated and keep very clean. The plush bedding will lull you to sleep as a bajillion stars shine outside.
The owner, Suzanne, communicates quickly and was accommodating to our special requests. We really appreciate her tranquil getaway and look forward to returning again. Thanks Suzanne!

We enjoyed an absolutely fantastic getaway at this gorgeous property! The huge windows provide amazing views with lots of light. The home is immaculate, comfortable, and has every amenity you can imagine. We really enjoyed the huge, peaceful, outdoor deck which was perfect for feeding the blue jays and relaxing. There’s a very obvious pride of ownership here and we’re already anxious to return! Thank you Suzanne and Phil for a wonderful couple of days and for so generously sharing your beautiful home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Suzanne's place. The house was great, just as advertised, and the deck was amazing. A nice view and we also got to sit outside as a rain storm moved through area (nice little overhang kept us dry) It was soooo much fun. The house is in a nice quiet area, very relaxing, but also close to the main "strip" of Idyllwild for groceries, lunch, dinner, and other shopping. We will definitely return and stay again. Also the hostess Suzanne was really great at communicating and was accommodating to our requests.

Three active senior citizens (a couple and a single friend) enjoyed a delightful stay in this 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. The kitchen is well-furnished. Many board games and puzzles are available. We enjoyed the large deck for sunset viewing. It is a short drive to Idyllwild which has fine restaurants, a grocery store, and an ice cream shop. We hiked the nearby Ernie Maxwell Trail. We had some trouble with the TV and the owner was very responsive to get it working. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

My boyfriend and our friends had a wonderful stay! Exceeded our expectations. Great movie selection, game selection and plenty of dishes. Very clean and comfortable home. Enough room for everyone and a very peaceful area. Also 6 mins away from the little town area. Would definitely book again!

The cabin was clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and close to the charming shops and restaurants of Idyllwild. It was a great place to spend our weekend and we wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this cabin.

The property is clean, well-kept, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Our son loved playing on the deck and the street was very private with gorgeous views. It's a 5 minute drive into town for good restaurants, grocery stores, and local gift shops with unique items you won't find elsewhere.
We had great communication with the host from start to finish and they even offered to come help shovel snow out of the driveway since we got 6 inches but I was happy to get a workout in and use the provided shovel to do it myself.
The only negative was the fireplace wasn't working but they said they'd have someone come and look at it soon after our stay. We will most definitely be back!

We had a great time playing in the snow all around the house. Our pup loved his first time in snow. The house was perfect for the four of us. Lots of board games to choose from. Great place for a longer board game and reading.

This is one of the.best locations we’ve stayed in Idyllwild. It was very clean and comfortable. The street dead ends, so there was virtually no traffic going past. It was extremely quiet, although it was a very busy weekend. Would definitely stay again.

My husband and I have been staying at this cabin for many years. Our latest stay was particularly comfortable and restful. The cabin has large windows that let in lots of light. It's immaculate when we arrive and is comfortably furnished. It provides everything that we need. Things that we most treasure about the cabin is its quietness and the ease and pleasantness of communication with the owners. Thank you for making the cabin available to us!

We had an amazing 3-day weekend. We have stayed here 3 times and enjoy the home/cabin very much! The Owner always e-mails you to make sure all is well. The home has a great cleaning service - it is always very clean & tidy when we arrive. Kitchen is great - everything you need. We played board games (that were there) and went for long walks. We even walked into town (all downhill) and had our kids pick us up in town. Highly recommend this property!!!

We have stayed at Suzanne's home 4 times now and will continue to return. The home is super comfortable and cozy, well stocked and has an amazing location. Close enough to town but far enough away. The neighborhood is also very quiet. We love that there is a hiking trail walking distance to the house. Suzanne is great with communication and is very accommodating. Highly recommend this property!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four. It was easily accessible. It was clean with all the amenities to cook our meals for the weekend. They had some fun board games we played. And a nice deck out back the kids could play on with the snow. The owner was quick to respond with any questions we had and was super helpful! We will definitely be back!

About the renters, two brothers & their wives, one couple early 70’s, the other late 50’s. This cabin was in a very beautiful, quiet location. It’s obvious the owners take great pride in their property. The exterior of the cabin was well kept & the interior was decorated beautifully. Our wives found everything they needed in the kitchen. We were all impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin. We are looking forward to renting this property again in the future. The owner of the property was easily accessible & concerned that everything was perfect for us. We highly recommend this property.
