The beach house is in a great location- the view is beautiful and the large deck with ample seating makes it easy to really appreciate. Also can’t beat walking right out to the beach.

Everything we needed for myself, husband, infant and 3 year old for a week at the beach. While we did have one issue with washer/dryer, owner responded and had it fixed the next day. We loved our time this week and hope to come again!

This property is a beach house on a private beach in Ocean 3 which is either near or in Lavalette. We had 5 adults in our party which is perfect for the beach house. The 3 bedrooms are tight but a full size bed and dresser are in two of the rooms and the master has a king size bed with a bureau and a small bathroom attached to it. The living room had a pull out which we did not use. The deck and the view and the convenience to the beach are the selling features to this beach house. The house is 2 houses from the entrance to the beach path. Beach badges are required and these were supplied by the owner. The kitchen is small but open. We ate all our meals on the deck which was really nice. We could even see the Seaside fireworks one night. We biked to Seaside (about 25 minutes) from the house. There is a small market nearby (Lasolas market) where we purchased some salads and meats. There are a few other places nearby where you could get a quick bite (crabby Ricks) and we had a lovely sushi dinner at Blu’s which we walked to (about a 20 minute walk ) BYO. The owner is very quick to respond to any questions you might have. We had a lovely time at this beach house.

Our experience with the owner was limited but we found him to be very cordial and anxious for us to enjoy our time. The house was very clean and nice sheets and towels provided. It provided us with the necessary time to relax and regroup. What seems like a laundry list of complaints is simply to outline the ways in which our expectations differed from reality.The property was, in fact, just as described, however - ocean front yes, but no indication that dunes had built up and blocked the view of the ocean. There were, indeed, 3 bedrooms, decorated as seen in the listing, however - the rooms were very small without room to even walk around the bed. We used only 2 of the bedrooms, but one of them had no closet. The 2 bathrooms had the smallest toilets I've ever seen and one of the showers was a 1/4 circle built into a corner ... not easy for an adult to use and no bar on which to hang a wet towel. There were 4 lovely TV's with access to most kinds of entertainment. The living area was open with a kitchen counter, dining table, and TV watching area with comfortable cushions.; however, all of the lighting was over the kitchen and eating areas with not another lamp or ceiling light for the "living room" area. The deck was wonderful with lots of comfortable seating and table with umbrella. The kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils and appliances.Future guests will have a lovely time as long as they know what to expect. May I add, we were blessed with a week of wonderful weather - cool ocean breezes and crystal blue skies!

Very nice beach home with a million dollar view. We spent so much time on the deck. Beds were comfortable but I might suggest you bring cotton sheets from home. We had a wonderful week in Lavalette and the home is very nice. Would stay there again!

This house is ideal if you want to get away, be by the ocean and have large deck to BBQ, entertain, or simply lay out. The amenities are simple but all that you need. Restaurants are delivering and there is an Acme 3 miles away next to a liquor store. Just being on the deck for 6 days rejuvinated my family. The neighbors are also so pleasant. I would highly recommend this home to anyone that wants some peace and quiet. I look forward to booking again. - Brielle Caruso

The beach house is wonderful especially the deck. It is a huge deck with several couches and a table seating 8. Grill too. Very clean. Sue

We had an awesome stay at this house! The deck was quite spacious and well equipped to really enjoy the outside and views both during the day and at night. It was evident the amount of planning and thought that went into the house. Having young kids, we appreciated the small details--extra storage under all the beds in addition to dressers with lots of drawers in every room, fenced in deck and sand area below, presence of a breakfast nook, BLACKOUT shades in every room! The king-sized bed in the master bedroom was also so appreciated as most other beach houses do not offer this. We really felt like the needs of the guests were well anticipated and met in this house. We are definitely planning on returning if available!

The house was very nice and the deck was incredible!!! However, it rained the ENTIRE TIME!! So we weren't able to use the deck and the facilities.

Joseph is a wonderful, attentive homeowner and a pleasure to work with. Quick communication and he went out of his way to work with us. House is beautiful and that deck...the reason we picked his house!

This house is directly on a beautiful beach with a gorgeous deck which is furnished nicely. Our weather was a total washout so time spent outside was minimal but it could have been fantastic. There were no major issues but a number of smaller ones added up to a less than stellar experience. If we weren't stuck in the house for the entire time, these things might not have bothered us as much. Parking is dicey as you can't possibly fit a normal sized car in the garage-you can't even stand up straight inside it. We had to park across the driveway as to not hang out in the very narrow street. Upon entering, the first thing we saw was a beige colored couch which was so filthy we had to cover it up with a blanket and still hated sitting on it. We texted the owner about several issues but when he still hadn't replied for several hours we called and he said he'd been too busy to get back to us. Upon mention of the couch he said someone might have told him about it but he wasn't aware of it being that bad. The refrigerator, though certainly not really dirty had crumbs in the drawers and the icemaker wasn't hooked up so we had to go out for ice. All the light bulbs over the sink in one of the bathrooms were out. The bedding left a LOT to be desired and when laying in it you looked up to see the ceiling fan blades covered with dirt ready to fall on you. There was a gas fire pit and grill but both propane tanks were disconnected and empty. It just felt like no one had given things as a whole much attention. We had an issue with the tv and when I called the owner again to ask a simple question he just said he didn't know. In all the years we have rented homes listed by owners it was the first time we felt a total disregard for our experience and any problems we might run into. In all fairness, the off season rate for the house was great but had we been paying the much higher summer price it would have been really off putting. The owner has the timeframe for the sizeable deposit to be returned, set at 14 days, which is ridiculous as it is done with the stroke of a key. The possibility of a great vacation at this house is there if the owner could at least pretend to care and make minimal functional/cosmetic upgrades.

Our family (4 adults and 2 toddlers) had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, cozy, beachfront property for a week this August. The house is equipped with everything you need. We love to cook and they had all the pots and pans and gadgets you need to make family meals. The BEST part of the house is the enormous deck that overlooks the ocean. I miss watching the sun rise over the Atlantic from the comfort of that deck. The bedrooms are not huge, but they are comfy and the expanse and comfort of the deck make up for it. The garage is equipped with beach chairs, umbrellas and even beach toys for the kids. Also, there's high-speed wifi and cable and smart TVs in every room of the house in case you get a rainy day and need to entertain yourselves indoors. I would go back to this house in a heart beat and miss being there already!

The house, although small, has charm and great functionality including really good hot showers. The deck brought us all together morning, noon and night as a family. Roasting marshmallows over the fire pit was so much fun for the grandkids. Views are beautiful especially when the sun rises in the morning. Easy access to the beach and within walking distance to great pastry shops. This house is well kept and the owner was very helpful in answering my questions.

This property was beautiful. Our family had a wonderful time. The deck and view can’t be beat. The owners were extremely quick in answering my questions. We would definitely recommend this home for your family vacation!

Lovely home! Kitchen equipment well stocked. We cooked and BBQ most nights. No one wanted to leave the oversized deck and comfy outdoor couches. Amazing sunrise. House was clean and bathrooms updated. Bedrooms a little small but who wanted to sleep?? Great open living space.

Fabulous views and unforgettable ocean breezes. The deck space is extraordinary !! I didn’t want to leave !!! The beach is at your feet and going in May was particularly great because of the serenity and quiet!! I loved the property and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The home was clean and neat and having linens available was one less thing to think of. Fabulously relaxing !!!!

The property was perfect. The deck overlooking the beach and ocean was gigantic with beautiful deck furniture and a grill to use.The view was the reason we wanted to stay in this house....we were not disappointed.

Even off season this property delivers! Had a great time!
