Avec plus de 2800 pieds carrés, cette maison au bord du canal offre quelque chose pour toute la famille. Pêche sur le porche arrière et belle vue sur le canal calme donnant directement sur la baie. Il y a une retraite principale au premier étage avec un coin salon et une grande baignoire. Le deuxième étage possède une autre chambre de taille comparable qui est actuellement utilisée comme salle de jeux \ chambre à coucher ainsi que deux grandes chambres. Il y a de la place pour tout le monde! Une grande cuisine avec beaucoup de rangement, deux lavabos et de superbes vues sont quelques commodités qui plairont à coup sûr. Wifi i et xfiniti et téléviseurs dans le salon, la salle principale et la salle de jeux. Pour les pêcheurs de la famille, le quai de l'outback a certaines des meilleures pêches de canal à Galveston avec un feu vert sous-marin qui attire les poissons! Beaucoup de jeux de verges, 2 kayaks tandem, filet de volley-ball et jouets de plage pour les enfants, tout inclus!

We had 6 people total and our dog. Perfect location on the water with a great deck. Great neighborhood and house.

We very much enjoyed David’s property! It was beautiful sitting on the top deck over looking the serene water and beautiful community with a cup of coffee to start the day. The downstairs deck was full of fun for our boys as they fished, kayaked, gave the paddle boards a whirl and crabbed. The home equipped with everything you need for cooking and then some. I would highly recommend this home for a stay with a large group. I look forward to going back soon!

This is the 4th time we have stayed in this beautiful home. It is comfortable and relaxing. We love the upstairs deck with views of the water. The downstairs area is perfect for fishing and just hanging out. The kids love playing on the paddle boards and kayaks in the bay. David is a great host and is available should you have questions during your stay. The kitchen area is large and a great place for everyone to hang out. The area is less crowded that other areas in Galveston and the beach is right across the highway. We will definitely be back.

The property was settled in a great location with great view into the bay. The house was clean and very comfortable. The house was also stocked with everything you will need to enjoy a week away. Including paddle boards and other activities the kids of many ages will enjoy. One of the best perks to the house was the owner was very easy to communicate with from start to end!

This is my first time to stay on the canal and it won’t be my last! The kayaks and toys in the garage were an added bonus as well as the game room. The kitchen setup was great, plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and coffee pots and more. David was very responsive when needed. Very spacious home and the view on the canal was wonderful. My favorite part was kayaking on the canal. We will definitely be back!

We have spent the last 11 Thanksgivings in Galveston- family tradition for us to get a week with my sister, her husband and my nephew. This was the best place yet! Great space for everyone, location was perfect, the house was so comfortable and well equipped, and ping pong/kayaking/paddle boarding was perfect to keep a 13-year old occupied.

The location of this property was very convenient, and the neighborhood was excellent. Communication with the owner was easy and thorough. The house had more extras that we didn't even use, but it was nice to have them available. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family stayed at the beach house during the first week of August. We had a blast! We watched the sunrise from the deck, fished off the dock, caught crabs with the traps, and paddle-boarded throughout the canal. The location is perfect, with a beautiful beach just across the road. The host was amazing. When I texted him, he responded immediately. The property was so nice. I highly recommend this beach house and look forward to returning!!

Great place! Only caution is on the deck upstairs there are some loose deck rails that was very unsafe for our toddler. Some of them were completely broken. Some wear and tear but we would definitely stay again. Loved the kayaks! BBQ pit does need to be replaced.

Perfect Getaway
This house is perfect for large family get-togethers. Having access to fishing made it really nice...it kept the guys nearby!
Loved having the picnic tables below so we could all eat together too!
Having access to a pool would've made the "older generation" happier but everyone else was more than happy with the beach and the bay. Kayaks were loved!

Due to almost perfect weather, we were able to take advantage of the kayaking and hanging at the beach. Good toys and equipment! Evening ping-pong was great!! So much kitchen room all of us could prepare and eat great meals.

Best Location and Property in Galveston
The property will exceed all of your expectations. It is impossible to highlight all the extra care the host have taken to ensure you have everything you could need, want or desire during your trip. We were able to cook an entire Thanksgiving Dinner and have everyone comfortably seated using only items available within the house (minus actual food of course). Everyone had activities and games regardless of the age group. It was fabulous to have our whole family in one place and very comfortably. 5 star host for sure!

Brought my dad here for his 60th birthday along with local family. He had one of the best times in his life (his words) as we played games, fished on the dock, and took our boat out fishing in West Bay. We spent the evenings out back grilling steaks and fish on the BBQ grill. Thanks for helping us make great memories David.

Fishing was good, we also enjoyed the house and all that came with it. The AC went down on us but we were able to manage.

Another great trip
We have made it a family tradition to take a summer trip to Galveston and stay at this property with our kids and grandkids. This was year number four and as always the house did not disappoint. The space and location provides the opportunity for everyone to do their thing-whether it be fishing, relaxing, going to the beach or playing games. The owner is quick to respond when needed. We look forward to seeing what upgrades he’s done to the house each time we come back. We will back next year!

The house is nice and spacious. A little sprucing up and attention to details would add to the experience. A wide variety of equipment was provided - crab traps, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, and much more. Fishing off the dock was fun for all. Our two 4 year olds each caught their first fish. The beach is a short drive away and all had a great time playing in the waves. It’s about 15 miles from the “action” center of the island, but we enjoyed being out of that and on the canal. The owner was very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had, and we appreciated that.
