Great location. Quiet, close to downtown. Lovely outdoor space.
Having a washer/dryer was great.
Kitchen was poorly equipped. The only cooking pots were a GIANT saucepan and a large frying pan (useless for cooking small amounts of food for one person), neither of which worked well with the induction cook top. Took *forever* just to boil a couple of eggs. I contacted the host, who said a small pot would be dropped off the next day, but that never happened. Since I was at that location for 6 nights, and had planned on cooking most of my own meals, this was a major minus for me.
In addition, the only means of making coffee was a Nespresso machine, which meant the coffee I had already purchased was useless. (The online pictures of the place had shown a French press on the counter, so this was completely unexpected)

We liked the sofa bed it's incredibly comfortable. And the place is a walk of everything! The staff is very helpful and the landlord too, giving and providing all our needs. We will choose this place again when we comeback in Iceland.

great place, so close to grocery stores, cafe, restos! Very quite place! Ocean is just 3 blocks from apartment, 20 minute walk into heart of downtown.

Location is fantastic, it's a great little place as a base for a week in Iceland. Really clean and tidy and really great to have a washer dryer so we could clean our towels.
The shower is fantastic, nice and hot and good pressure. Great little kitchenette too, with a fridge, and small hob if you want to do a bit of cooking yourself. There's a supermarket just across the road and only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Reykjavík. Most definitely recommend this place, we'll be back 😁
Only real issue was the bed, it's a fold out sofa bed which was comfortable enough but with the slightest movement it makes so much noise from the springs which meant we got almost no sleep the first night and immediately moved the mattress to the floor and folded the bed away. Bit of a hassle each morning and evening but not much could be done.

The location was good.
The advertised on Booking was for 50 square meters.
The actual size was half of it. I wouldn't select that apartment If I knew they cheat on the size.
The Sofa bad was very Uncomfortable. Like to sleep on a bowl - You sink inside and have a back pain.

Free parking outside, wifi worked very well and there is a suoermarket very close to the bunker.
Lets start with the facts:
- the apartment is 25-30 sqm (not the 50 sqm advertised in the description!), located in a basement, so forget about natural light even if it is sunny outside (you have to have the lights on all day long).
- the place is very noisy (people leaving above, children at the garden - remember you are literallly below the ground level, parties from neighbour's...) so dont forget your ear protections.
- the place is dirty... Very dirty. Better not to look under the sofa (which should have been rplaced many years ago) or use rhe kitchen utensiles available.
- there is no space for your stuff (unless you plan to stay there only one night and travel alone). 25sqm are not very comfy for a long stay.
- management is absolutely horrible: he does not reply to emails and as soon as he got the money, forget about having anything which you can miss during your stay.
- sofa bed is really uncomfortable: it is old and used ans you sink in the middle (i will need some massage sessions after ny stay there to recover my poor back...)
These are facts, not subjective oppinions. If you have another choice, definitely go for it! I really cannot understand how this place has so good evaluations in booking.. A complete mistery!

A very cozy little 1-room apartment with everything you may need in the trip. The location is just perfect, and only 5-10 minutes on foot from the shopping centre street. The apartment itself is calm and quiet, has the cleanest shower, a washing machine, a hairdryer, a little kitchenette which is totally enough for cooking. A perfect place for a lone traveler :)
The only thing which was lacking was the iron, but the agency instantly gave an address of a drying service, which is nearby. Maybe not too much of space, when you set up a bed, but it was totally enough for me :)
