Despite hotel is quite old, it has magic of 1920s and I like that atmosphere, especially saloon and its furniture. Wellness part of the hotel is also very nice.
Despite I booked queen room, I got quite small room with 2 joined beds and without balcony, which looked like most economic option, despite it wasn't supposed to be. Shower was very small and cheap feel, for that money I would expect restored and nice bathroom at least.

It would be a great hotel if it had a fair price. For the hotel that it is, it is just too pricey.

GOOD
1. Location and view on east mountains is amazing!
2. Operational stuff is very kind and warm (receptionist, waiter ). They were really nice at breakfast and even if they didn't not offer vegetables on regular menu, they were quickly willing to arrange it.
3. Really kind to animals.
1. How the Hotel Manager twists her words in a very diplomatic way and how the trap travelers by promising them something they actually do not offer!!!
- SECURE PLACE FOR BIKES: THEY CONSIDER TO BE ROOF BEHING HOTEL WITHOUT CAMERA:
I have specifically asked when booking if the hotel provides a SECURE space for bikes. She answered: "we have possibility for your bikes". We arrived there and the possibility was to leave them behind hotel, under the roof. Technically that is a secure place (from rain, thunder, any natural events..but of course that is not what I mean or would any traveler expect! Taking bikes in to 4th floor by stares or small elevator...yeah. Thanks for not mentioning this on time of booking.
- BOOKED THE ROOM WITH BALCONY, GAVE ME ONE WITHOUT and argued it's my fault because I did not specifically write when booking (I HAVE BOOKED THE ROOM WITH BALCONY written under room choice)
I have specifically looked before booking for a room with balcony because my mom had birthday that weekend and I wanted her to enjoy morning view on the fresh air. We came in our rooms in the evening and I was tired from 6h drive with car and 2h with bicycles. I just crashed in the first room. It was in the morning when I found out that even my parents don't have balcony in their room. I went to complain to hotel manager and she said:
1.1. You didn't write under special request (even though i have choose the room with balcony - for example some rooms did not have this option).
1.2. That they have somewhere on their page written that not all rooms include balcony (cool, but as said before I have checked option with and without balcony and chosen the one WITH).
13. She said that I should told her this in the evening... great, sorry for being tired and thanks for the understanding and taking reeallly good care of customer satisfaction. NOT.
2. They gave us attic rooms with low roof - we hit our heads few times when going to bad.

The building and the exterior decoration are magnificent. the interior of the hotel in the early 20th century style is also significant.
On the other hand, the room is unworthy of a 3 star. It is dated and old fashioned without any modern comforts. At 150 € a night, it's theft. I don't understand how some customers can give such a high rating, it's a trick.
IN A WORD, DO NOT BOOK AT THIS HOTEL
9.2
The view from the room and proximity to Cortina.
The additional charge of 10 EUR per person for the access to spa area if you book through booking.com and not through the hotel’s website.
