The property needs issues addressing, redecoration and a thorough clean.

The location was very good
The steep stairs to the first floor flat.

The bed was lovely. The location was very nice.
The smell on arrival was very damp and mouldy.
The windows were dirty and misted on the outside and although the table and chairs at the window were great, we couldn’t see out. The pans need replacing as both are unusable. The damp patch on the ceiling wasn’t inviting. The shower head needs replacing. The shower leaked on to the floor every time we used it, and couldn’t be moved up and down on the pole. Shower curtain was full of mould. The carpet into the kitchen door was dangerous.

Well positioned in centre of town. All amenities catered for in the Flat, home from home. Plenty of books,dvds and board games for a rainy day Would stay again.
Steepness of stairs. Nothing you can do about that, was the way they were built. Could do with a freshen up, but that is just my own opinion.

The only fault was we could smell that somebody had been smoking in the apartment. We had to open all the windows.

Convenient location for beach and shops
Welcome pack appreciated.
Strong smell of smoke from flat below. Steps to bathroom and bedroom. Out of date promotional literature for local attractions. Dirty windows. Access to parking area.

Hallway dirty and smelly.
Sofa was uncomfortable.
Pans were old and rusty so could not use.
Stairs to bathroom was dangerous .

They gave us a welcome basket with a letter and some other goodies it was a nice personal touch.

The location was spot on, central for everything. Apartment had absolutely everything you could need and a great window for people watching! Thoughtful hosts with guide on how to use heating, TV, shower etc and some personal touches that were great (ie milk in the fridge on arrival). V comfy beds/pillows (I had a single and mum had double) and slept really well. Would absolutely recommend Westgate Retreat.
Parking could be hit and miss but on the whole we were lucky getting a space at the front ... didn't attempt the one at rear.

Fantastic apartment with lots of space, kitchen dining room with a tv so the kids could go and watch their own thing. Central location close to the beach and facilities.
