Room on second floor would have preferred first

The staff at this hotel are amazing all of them .They really made our stay lovely nothing was too much trouble .And we had breakfast in bed wow it was amazing the best ever !

The breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. Can't fault them.

Could have been better directions to the hotel but that's only a small niggle.

Friendly Staff, Good Food, Location of the hotel, Easy parking out of season, ease of checking in / out, good selection of drinks on the bar.

Abolishing the room service charge would be nice for those whom are of limited mobility and do rely on room service. The elevator was a little small to accommodate a wheelchair had to send my father up and down on his own. Not having a disabled friendly room with a disabled friendly bathroom.

Great all round hotel we enjoyed our time with you .

The location is great, parking was no problem. The hotel is lovely, room could have been warmer. Breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

The room could have been warmer

The room was perfect for my daughter and myself - very comfortable . The decor was very pleasing indeed - a lovely relaxing environment and the breakfast was really good. The location was perfect to walk to the theatre and the staff very friendly.

Nothing to complain about!

The hotel was in great location and really close to the theatre we had tickets to see a show and it was almost next door to Dylan’s restaurant, which was ideal. The hotel Itself was clean and tidy, all ready for Christmas. The staff were super friendly, breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Beautifully restored, clean, close to theatre on the sea front, animal friendly hotel. On street parking (free) Staff were amazing. Breakfast was nice, plenty to choose from, although some elements of the cooked brekkie had dried up a little, bar drinks were a little pricey, but you get that in hotels.

We booked 2 deluxe rooms with sea front views. One was for my 90yr old mum in law so I asked for a walk in shower, unfortunately this meant we were on 1st floor with a bay window, beautiful sea views and a fridge but she was on 3rd floor in the loft space, her room was smaller only one chair, velux ceiling window you had to stand to see out of and a walk in shower that was not useable. The doors barely opened up to 30cm wide, so she couldn’t use the shower. Would have been better having a proper sea view with a bay window, Larger room and on the same floor as us!!! She ended up having to have strip wash every day. This was part of her 90th birthday treat, so it felt like we had treated ourselves to a better room (when we booked 2 of the same rooms) and not her….. very disappointed in this.

The only problem in the whole stay was the shower. No headroom and I’m only 178 cm tall and the shower tray flooded into the bathroom

The welcome at reception was friendly and everything was explained clearly. The room was lovely - bright, clean and spacious. We loved the little touches like eye masks and Elemis toiletries. My partner enjoyed using the coffee machine and I was obsessed with spying on the comings and goings of the sea front with the telescope! We slept well in the excellent super king bed. The bathroom was clean and the shower was efficient with good water pressure. Breakfast was very nice and service was good. Checkout was easy and we took advantage of the receptionists local knowledge. Overall, a lovely stay..I just wish we could have stayed another night! Thanks!

Very minor niggles..the toilet roll dispensers were in a weird place. Apparently the black pudding was hard. That's it!

Everything was clean, maybe apart from windows. The bathroom was small but nice. The room was decent size, I'm glad we got little slippers, and lots of tea and hot chocolate options in our room. The front desk lady was really friendly. The hotel is around 20min walk from the very heart of LLandudno which is good. We had to park on the street, there is no parking there, but at least parking on the promenade was free so that's ok.

The mattress/topper on the mattress was uneven and not very comfortable. The noise cancellation in the room was not the best sadly, there was a little gap where he door ended, and we could hear everything and everyone out in the corridor which made it harder for me to sleep.

The location was a short walk to the town centre. The room was very clean and modern and lots of facilities. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was fresh and there was lots of choice and was adapted to our preferences.

Great location, in a quiet part of Llandudno but only a 10 minute walk to the main shops and cafes if you should wish to visit them. A very trendy bar and lounge area and a fantastic outside space for sitting and relaxing. All the staff were extremely helpful and couldn't do enough for us, they let us book in early and stored our luggage for us until the room was ready, and when we arrived back the bags were in our rooms. There was plenty of free parking on the road outside the hotel, meaning we only had a few yards to walk with our luggage.

We couldn't find any fault with the hotel or the staff.

Staff were friendly and professional. The hotel was modern and my room was nicely decorated with good facilities. Breakfast was great.

Waiting area/ lobby wasn't clean. Dirty cups left on tables, crumbs on floor, sofas and tables - considering I waited in the lobby for an hour it wasn’t great as it was dirty. I paid for a sea view room but the windows were that dirty inside and out it was pretty pointless. Carpets in my room were not fully vacuumed - was crumbs by seating area by the window and a mark on the duvet cover.

The location, the staff and the public areas

Finding the guest before toiletries in the shower, the bathroom, the shower door couldn't be opened fully, the basin was too small. The toilet was a squeeze. The shower leaked.No bedside table

I think the only downside would be how hot the room was which we couldn’t cool down. I suppose this cannot be helped

Very well maintained food very good and all staff very friendly and helpful, apart from one man on reception who was not very helpful at all , but that would not put me of staying again as all other staff were very nice

The only problem was parking was a nightmare, but that is not hotels problem

No clear instructions for using the Tassimo coffee machine.

Staff are friendly and helpful so 10/10. Location is superb so 10/10. Hotel, Restaurant Area and Bar area looks nice. Facilities in the room are also good with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water bottles, towels and sleepers :) which I never found in any other UK Hotels. We had dinner only in the restaurant which was good. But all the good things end here when you get out of the lift.

Room was too small for the price paid although bed was really comfy. Dark corridors. Cleaning is ok but when we returned in the evening, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom so I have to open the door and window as much as I could and it disappeared. It is an old building so floor creaks everywhere, luckily we were on the top floor so it was not too much but just imagine if you are on 1st or 2nd floor and if you are a light sleeper like me, then you will be lucky to get any sleep. Walls are paper thin, we were in Room 304 (right opposite to the lift so one half of my request was done by the hotel being us on the top floor, other half of asking to be in quiet area was ignored) so you can hear the chat from Room 303 as well as anyone waiting for the lift. The hotel was mainly full of old people who probably wake up early for breakfast so it was very loud between 0630-0730 and then Housekeeping starts and the two cupboards are right next to the lift. You can imagine again if you are a light sleeper, you can just stare at the ceiling and wonder why you are in this room. So things that should be improved lighting in the corridors, floor creaking sounds, not sure if anything can be done walls being paper thin but this was my first experience ever to stay in a hotel which is not a known brand like Holiday Inn or Premier Inn (my mistake not to check that there are two P Inn in town but you can not find them unless you book with them direct). I wondered for a while how come they are a 4 star hotel but then I realized its AA 4 Star which is actually every other hotel in Llandudno when you start walking around the town. So to summaries, small rooms, nice bed, noisy, thin walls and not good value for money.

The staff were all very friendly. The hotel is very comfortable and welcoming for dogs. The outside space looks out over the sea, which is lovely.

The cooked breakfast is a bit small. Otherwise, everything was excellent.
