The staff is very welcoming and kind. The breakfast was lovely. The rooms are very cozy and have their own character.
The rooms were quite noisy as they are over the bar. Because it is an old building you can hear everything. The first night it was hard for me to sleep because of it. We were in a room that was smaller than the other rooms and therefore not really in line with the pictures on booking.com.

Breakfast was great! Jacuzzi bath was great to have! Location near historic sites! The staff was very helpful and friendly! I will recommend this property to friends.
The matras was too soft. Not good for people with back problems. The old carpets should be removed.

everything was brilliant about the hotel, staff and food
parking was a pain - complicated and time consuming. Added £11.00 to the cost of the stay. Irritating when you're tired from the travel and just want to get in your room and shower. It would probably prevent me from usung the hotel again, which is a real shame, as we loved it.

If I'd known there were larger and more expensive rooms available I would have chosen a largfer one!
Staff couldn't have been more helpful
Nothing I didn't like!

Lovely location.
The room was comfortable and clean.
Breakfast was amazing
Staff are very polite and friendly work very hard.
Even though there were only two of us, the room is not really big enough for 2 adults and 2 children, no living space for the children either.

Have stayed twice. Think that explains how much I like it.
As mentioned accompanying dog charge.

My daughter and I staid in one of their twin rooms. The room was very elegant and beautifully laid out with everything you could need. The staff were all exceptional, this is probably the warmest hospitality I have ever encountered. We will stay again as we loved it.

We should have been notified of the location of the room being in the roof space. The stairs and lack of handrails are dangerous .

Staff we all lovely. Nice Quirky hotel and room tastefully done and with many original features. Good pub, great central location.
The only slight fly in the ointment was a faint beeping noise from across the square. a faulty alarm or somethoing. had stopped by morning.
