Großes ruhiges Zimmer. Gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Sehr freundliches Personal und ein umfangreiches gutes Frühstück.

Spacious and friendly
The hotel removed almost £600 from my account without my authorisation. They admitted the fault however have not refunded the full amount back into my account due to an exchange rate change. I am now £20 short in my account which I can ill afford. Apart from taking such a large amount in the first instance, to then not refund the full amount is unacceptable and unfair. I was pleased with my stay at the Kastanienhof but their behaviour with regard this I think reflects very badly on them and I shall not be staying there again.

It was quiet and the location near the train station was excellent.
Staff at check in was not very helpful. AC would only run for 3 minutes then it would get turned off. The person at the front desk in the morning was more helpful, letting us put our suitcases in a locked room so we could go out and explore. No information about breakfast when we checked in. Did not even know they had it until after we had gone out to get something else.

Appreciated the welness center (Hammam, sauna ....) very nice and organized.
Pity the restaurant was closed.

Easy access to Munich Airport, direct bus stops basically outside of the hotel (at the train station).

The hotel was clean and pleasant. Great location close to the center of Erdinger. Great breakfasts. Staff was attentive and accomodating.
My room was hot and stuffy and I couldn't adjust the air conditioner. This made it unpleasant to sleep. The room cleaners did not clean the coffee station or restock the coffee in the room nor did they restock the toiletries in the bathroom. A minor inconvience.

Very clean and elegant hotel, not to big, although close to Erding train station steps away very quiet. Rooms were clean and well taken care of with balconies. option of paid parking but there was free parking on the weekend on the street literally across the front door. 15 minutes to Munich Airport by car (no traffic jam) but no airplane noise. Comfortable beds. Staff friendly.

Great location, just nearby train station (50 minutes direct train to Marienplatz) and 15 minutes by car to the airport. 200 m to fantastic bakery for breakfast.
The hotel is clean and beds comfortable.
