Property and facilities are fine, well kept and spotless clean, some would consider it a bit dated, some would call it vintage. Location is convenient, along a main road, easy to find and 10 min from Willingen ski slopes. The crew running the hotel are superb, very friendly, personal and service oriented - staying open to make sure we could check-in and providing a quality breakfast with good scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, bread, you name it!

Room facilities are a bit outdated / vintage, everything works so no complaints, just mentioning it. If you’re sensitive to light and traffic noise, the curtains won’t help, and a room at the back is a good recommendation… (we had one at the back, no noise from the road). All small items and overall good value for money!

Nice, family run hotel in Usseln about 4 kilometers from Willingen. Breakfast is included and (apparently) sometimes a buffet style dinner. However as we were visiting, that wasn’t the case. But although Usseln itself is quite small, it has several restaurants in walking distance. The comfort room we booked was outdated in terms of decor but the size of the room, the view and the very comfortable beds more than made up for that. The room has a kitchen which can be booked at an additional € 10 per day. As the oven didn’t function properly, hotel staff offered to help us out by cooking our oven dishes in their own oven. Excellent service. As we stayed there for my birthday, the owners very thoughtfully decorated our breakfast table with lovely flowers and we were served a complimentary glass of German champagne. It’s little things like this, that I find extremely important and we will definitely come back!

The room was larger than expected and very clean. Loved the pool and the pool area, especially the fact that it has the possibility to walk outside for fresh air. For us the location was awesome, and all the townsfolks were very friendly.

It would have been nice to have towels in the pool area, for the pool area, instead of having to use the towels from the room. But other than that, nothing to complain.

On the other side of street was a big parking place, which belongs to the hotel. My room was 50 foot steps away from my car. The small swimming pool (underground) 8x4m was more or less under my room which was in the 1st floor.
