Location, amazing brekkie, lovely staff

Noisy at night due to film fest but not hotels fault

The location is perfect. Just behind the cathedral in the heart of Ortigia. Their restaurant makes marvellous food. The staff is welcoming and lovely. Make you feel like home. Our flight was cancelled and we stayed two more nights. The entire staff felt the frustration and made us feel like we were in family. Our suite is huge with private Finnish sauna in the bathroom. Everything is literally perfect!

Everything went great! Check in was quick and easy without hassle, we were escorted to our room and told of the amenities that we had available to us. The bed was comfortable, the room was spacious and the location was amazing. This was a great stay!

We decided to have dinner the first evening and were served by Anna who was kind, considerate and patient. Anna was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations for food and services. Just before finishing our order, another waiter took over. He was impatient and at the time he picked up our table he was sat for an additional 2 or 3 tables and was obviously annoyed. I asked him to be more patient and slow down for us and instead he mocked me. Disappointing. We did have a wonderful meal, though the waiter made multiple mistakes and neglected to serve us what we had ordered. At this point it was easier to deal with the issue rather than complain about it.

A stylish, superbly positioned and historic albergo with a pretty pink facade and virtually immediate access to the Piazza del Duomo as well as all the attractions of central Ortigia. I arrived late in the evening due to a technical problem with my flight but staff at reception were sympathetic and immediately friendly and welcoming. My bedroom was airy and spacious with a balcony and a fine view towards the Duomo. Everything was well presented and properly cleaned. I was able to take breakfast outside in Piazza Minerva, which was wonderful (especially in October). Meanwhile the staff looking after colazione were, again, immensely friendly and helpful while the breakfast cakes they provided were both freshly baked and delicious. I liked the Roma very much and would happily return to this unbeatably situated, well run and convenient hotel.

Very good location and a comfortable place to stay. Good breakfast where you can sit outside by the Duomo. Very helpful staff on front desk and serving at breakfast.

nice hotel. breakfast was delicious. rooms and lobby were clean, the cleaning maid was friendly and helpful to accommodate every request. it was a good place in the middle of the town so with easy access to everything.

staff were very stressful and disorganized at breakfast, especially the stressful part made our morning breakfast less calming.

The location of the hotel was very good. The room was comfortable and quiet. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

On two occasions our bedroom wasn’t cleaned. After speaking to reception, it was cleaned on the second occasion. It was too late for anything to be done the first time, although we did get clean towels.
