The location, the scenery, and the staff.
All good.

This accommodation is a beautiful home with luxurious, unique rooms. There are expansive grounds, well appointed rooms, welcoming common areas to sit. The rain shower is lovely and the coffee maker and tea kettle in the room was a bonus. Staff is very kind and helpful for any recommendations for local attractions (winery visits) or to assist with dinner reservations. Breakfast has something for everyone!

Beautiful views, very nice large swimming pool, historic property, very friendly and helpful staff who helped us organise a fabulous wine tour and have us lots of good restaurant recommendations.
Would have been good to have an iron and ironing board to use but otherwise everything was great

The overall experience is over the expected. Ask for the junior suite, room 11, you won't regret it.
Maybe more options for fruits for breakfast would be nice.

The location was wonderful, the Villa was amazing. The staff was very knowledgeable about the area and recommended things and restaurants for us, which turned out to be perfect. The breakfast was great too. Also, loved the honor system and drinks offered at the honor bar.
A little more attention to cleanliness of the large gathering areas. The chandelier needs some attention.

big rooms
authentic house
nice pool
friendly staff
piece and quiet
- very old pool furniture with no pillows ( which made is unfomfortable)
- breakfast was limited and the quality was questionable
- hotel where big group organisations travel to, you feel it and it makes it sometimes a bit less fun as individual couple

Loved everything! Absolutely beautiful! Staff was extremely nice, flexible and helpful. Made my stay wonderful.
The house itself is gorgeous, the grounds are like a postcard. This is what Americans wanting to see Tuscany are thinking of.
And a great value. I had one of the less expensive rooms. The bathroom was a little small but clean and nice. Great shower. The room was very pretty, wood beam ceiling etc. Again, I paid for a less expensive room.
If I make it back to Tuscany, I will come back.

It’s a tranquil place where you can travel back in time and enjoy historical surroundings with the warmest Italian service. We loved the location in the middle of Chianti region and a short drive away from many wine and olive oil tasting experiences. The staff are extremely nice and friendly and happy to provide all sorts of advice and suggestions for things to do in the area. Althought the furniture can feel a bit pompous, the whole place gives a very homey feeling and by the end of the stay we knew all the guests and it felt like a nice neigbourhood. The food was tasty and locally sourced with super affordable prices for the half board option. The massages were amazing, so certainly a must if you want to relax, but make sure you book in advance.
Google maps was not giving us the right location, so just read the signs as you get close to the villa. The food was given in generous quantities, but lacked some fresh vegetables, so it felt very heavy for me. Breakfast lacked variety, especially of warm options or veggies, but it was not a problem for us as we had a short stay.

The location offer great views of the Tuscan countryside. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits. Pool was open and refreshing.
Unfortunately we stayed in the room nr. 1, which I think is not entirely suitable as a hotel room due to its position - it shares a wall with the kitchen. This means that you get woken up at 7.30am and can hear dishes being washed well past 11.00pm. The room is also rather dark, otherwise well decorated with nice details, prints and a comfortable bed.
