The rooftop pool area was stunning and the aesthetics downstairs in the bar were fantastic.

The bar in the pool area doesn’t open during the week so you have to go down the lift 10 floors for a drink. It makes no sense whatsoever as it’s such a vibe killer. Best rooftop in town to socialise but you spend half the time in the lift!

Very stylish and modern hotel. Lovely bar area in the lobby and a nice rooftop bar with a pool (only open on the weekends at the moment). The room was nicely decorated and very comfy. No issues with noise from outside or neighbouring rooms.

Be aware that it’s located a bit outside the city centre - about a 30min walk or a €10 taxi.

The Hoxton wirkt von außen unscheinbar - ist im Inneren aber eine Augenweide. Wir wurden bei Ankunft sehr zuvorkommend empfangen. Uns wurde extra auf einer Stadtkarte von Barcelona wichtige Sehenswürdigkeiten und generelle Attraktionen gezeigt. Ebenfalls wie wir am besten in die Stadtmitte gelangen. Diese ist zu Fuß innerhalb 5Min easy erreichbar und man ist in 4 Stationen auch schon in der Innenstadt. Die Dachterasse ist sehr sehr schön - man hat einen tollen Blick vor allem auch auf die Sagrada Familia. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück welches sehr lecker war - hatten wir nur am Abflugtag genutzt. Auch hier war der Service sehr zuvorkommend und schnell. Empfehlenswert ist ebenfalls die Pizza im four corners zu testen. Ebenfalls toll zu erwähnen, dass man direkt am Hotel Zugang zu Fahrrädern hatte zum ausleihen.

Es war etwas unpraktisch, dass es im Zimmer keinen Kleiderschrank gab. So viel Platz, dass man die Koffer einfach beidseitig offen liegen lassen kann, hatte man nicht. An sich halb so schlimm - das war für die 4 Tage nur nicht so komfortabel zu zweit. Was ebenfalls komisch und auch etwas unangenehm war, dass im Badezimmer bzw. auf der Toilette die Klobürste gefehlt hat. Ich möchte als Gast wirklich nicht, dass die Reinigungskraft meine tollen Hinterlassenschaften sieht und weg machen muss. Ich hätte es schön gefunden und als extra Service empfunden, wenn jemand von den Mitarbeitern gemerkt hätte, dass ich an meinem Geburtstag da war.

Locatiob, People, roof top

unfortunately you changed the breakfast concept ( buffet to a la carte) . We have arround 600 reservations a year that we wanted to sign with hotels in that area, due to workshops we have. Breakfast is now very inefficient in our opinion and people like to chose themselves.

Very clean

Found it more for younger people. Roof top patio is extremely busy - highly recommend making reservations at least a week prior to when you want to go.

We appreciated to have the free parking and bikes. Nice rooftop with view.

Pool very small and full of children plus the minimim spending/booking process to have access to it.

The most beautiful hotel!! Was so pleased as soon as we arrived - special thanks to the lovely Alp who was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had and made us feel right at home! Space was clean, gorgeous views, amazing rooftop area & great location!

The shower was nice. Parking was present.

They don’t respond to any messages you send from Booking.com app. The staff didn’t inform us or welcome us properly. The guys at the reception were indeed talking with the customers but the lady who welcomed us was the worst receptionist I saw. She was slow and rude and she didn’t tell anything about the facilities etc. There is no closet/drawer in the room. The room is not like the photos and is quite small with a view of a construction site. So is the location: a huge construction site, wind and sand. We paid a huge amount for bad service and small room. The rooftop pool seems quite nice but requires booking etc. At night the rooftop bar is not for clients but for externals.

Great atmosphere and very attentive staff. The bed is incredibly soft! The hoxton is all about the vibe. Pool area is a bit small.

While the location is great, Poblenou is also a business-like district that was overly quiet on the weekend - but this is also a great respite from the madness of the gothic quarter.

The staff were so welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable . The rooftop employees and bartender in the lobby were exceptional. The bed was so comfortable! We had a wonderful time!

The room was very hot when we arrived, but they immediately sent someone up to turn on the ac and make sure it was wotking properly.

Check in took forever. There was a line and then when it was our turn it took a long time to check us in. I know they have to take the passport info for international guests but for some reason it took much longer than it did at other hotels. The neighborhood was described as a hip area, but I found it to feel like a business area with lots of big glass high rises and a big shopping mall. In fact, I was surprised when we arrived because the hotel itself looked like an office building from the outside. I preferred the El Born area (which was the other neighborhood we stayed in). If you are super comfortable jumping on the metro or taking taxis then it might make sense, but for travelers wanting to walk everywhere it might be a tad out of the way.

We had a fabulous stay at the Hoxton. The staff cannot be beat, meeting us with helpful suggestions and warm hospitality at every turn. The "Biggie" room was commodious for a family of three with plenty of natural light, comfortable beds (including the pullout couch), a mini fridge and a nice hot shower. The bars in the lobby and the roofdeck offered tastefully designed retreats from the commotion the city. We loved every minute!

The bed was super comfortable, we loved the style of the hotel. The location was great, as it was just a few steps away from a tube station and you're in the historical centre in a few minutes. The staff is young and very helpful.

The breakfast buffet was very yummy but a bit limited for a 4star-hotel, other than that it was great.
