We loved the property and the history. Our room was very nice and unique. We toured the property and then visited the other parador and cathedral. The staff were very helpful and the location was good.

I wouldn’t know, as I wasn’t able to use my purchase.

I made a two minute mistake, I entered the wrong month, correct day when booking. I immediately tried to correct the error with Booking.com and was told to contact the property, which I immediately did. They told me they would not refund me so that I could book the correct date. I tried reaching out repeatedly and they stood firm they would not refund me. This is a foolish policy. Two minutes. Further, they could have easily rebooked this room with a customer that would have actually spent more money at the restaurant increasing their revenue and made two happy customers.

Good location in a nice town. It has got character.

Lacking in atmosphere. No bar or restaurant (which we knew) meant guests were not around much and it always felt deserted.

What a beautiful hotel in a lovely location. We loved it. I liked the touch of staff checking did we need laundry done. It was most welcome after several days on the camino.

Wonderful place in a nice town in the Rioja region. Great breakfast, large room, super clean, good parking. Would stay again for sure. There are two paradors in this town, we stayed in the monastery location. It was cheaper but still wonderful.

Stayed here as a treat when doing the camino. Great experience for our first Parador. Beautiful building, lovely room with a nice view from window. Friendly check in. There is no restaurant at the hotel but it is a short walk to bars, restaurants and main square. We loved it. Looking forward to another Parador stay.

Lovely location and the building itself is beautiful. Our room was very comfortable, but there was no air conditioning, which in itself if not a problem as we were able to open windows for air to circulate. We found a fantastic restaurant to eat which was FABULOUS.

I don't mind music in the late evening until about 3am, but it would have been nice to have been warned about it. The room became unbearably warm as windows had to be closed to block out the music (which was very loud), and there is no air conditioning.

Wonderful place to stay, very atmospheric. Went to the other Parador for dinner, which was lovely to see also, had a beautiful meal.
