Only complaint, the garden furniture on the terrace were dated and a bit old. Metal chairs on some with no pads

It’s a very nice hotel in beautiful settings, and its location is ideal for Pub in the Park event! We have stayed before and will most likely return at some point.

Our room had been upgraded on arrival. The mattress was the most comfortable we've ever slept on! The staff were so polite and friendly. The hotel was just perfect, in beautiful surroundings.

My sons loved the food in the bar - the gluten free burger was a HIT! Staff were very friendly. Room was nice and spacious.

The fact that my teenage sons could not go in the pool. They aren't children - they wanted to do lengths. The times weren't suitable for us that it was open for 'children'.

We chose the property due to the location and the spa facilities

It was a Friday night and there were a lot of children, so the pool area was not as enjoyable as before. Breakfast was very busy and the coffee machine (1 machine in the whole dining room) was constantly queued and the coffee in the flasks was awful

Got charged twice and also asked to pay an extra £75. It's been 5 working days and the money they double charged me and the extra £75 still not refunded.

It was very quiet and the room was very comfortable

Dark in some areas - particularly corridors which was not good for my mum who is visually impaired

Our room ran out of hand wash and tissues. And when we ask for them they were not available.

The room was very spacious and the bed and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast room looking at the lake could not be better positioned for a relaxing Sunday morning breakfast. Choice of food was great and service good. Staff at the reception and restaurant were very nice. I loved the pool that was big with perfect temperature.

Pool area should be tidied more frequently. There were plastic cups everywhere when we entered the leisure facilities in the evening, some even in the pool. Or maybe they should provide a bigger bin for guests to put the cups in.

Room was excellent and clean. Food was excellent.

We were there for a work Christmas party, while the food and waiters were superb the bar needed more staff.

Room: spacious, well-equipped (except no mirror at dressing table or near to hair dryer). Breakfast: staff were courteous, friendly, asked after my sore back (see below). Proper full fat yogurt was very tasty, as was poached fruit. French toast very good too, and excellent coffee. Bar: great espresso martini. Glassed-in outdoor area - looks nice, but must be much nicer in sunny weather.

Room: mattress was much too firm. Asked the morning after first night for a different mattress or a mattress topper, was told there was a mattress topper already, but they'd get me an extra one. Asked again in the afternoon. Was told one would be brought, but it wasn't. Gave up for third night. My back was so sore I couldn't go Xmas shopping with my grandchildren (main point of my visit). The lady in the breakfast room was most solicitous! Breakfast: Scrambled eggs were horrid. Pastries were dry, didn't taste fresh.

Staff are very good, love the pool facilities, and the restaurant area is very good.

Dinner was not great, potato gnocchi was terrible, breakfast though was very good.

The room myself and my partner stayed in was one of the best that we have stayed in, beautiful soft carpet, comfortable bed, hot shower, plenty of towels, I could mention much more and the staff were excellent, very polite and helpful.

Location was a short drive to lovely river views and town. The spa was a good size, and the bar and restaurant were large enough for you to have your own space.

One down for us was that we came with our 1 year old who is learning to swim , yet during the children's hours for the pool we were not aloud to bring her. If I had known this we wouldn't have booked as this was a family get away and we ended up having to take turns going to the pool area. For this reason we wouldn't be returning until she is older

Needed to tell you that there was a second menu available in the bar and not just the main restaurant.Didn't find out till last night needed a note in room .Not told menu was available via tv

The bathroom wasn’t polished enough, the shower still had limescale in shower and the shower door was not clean. The sink could have done with a good scrub. Towels were clean but needed freshening up. The mattress was a bit hard . And pillows were average

Staff extremely friendly and efficient, fast check in and room was as expected, this is our 4th visit this year and plan to return in October. Room and swimming pool as expected for a 4 star hotel dinner was outstanding, drinks very nice. Beds comfy and breakfast was outstanding. My wife, son and myself were spoiled for choice.

Nothing i can think of stands out, we would not return as often as we do if there was any issues with the hotel. Parking is easy due to ample parking, check in easy and staff are on the ball and cannot do enough to assist, rooms easy accessible due to lifts on both sides of the hotel.

the rooms seemed to have been recently refurbished (to a high standard too) and were spotlessly clean, very spacious and comfy. The location was lovely and peaceful with views of ver the lake from the bar and restaurant.

The breakfast was beautiful everything about it and Marshall was fantastic. The pool is lovely and the rooms are really spacious. Love nearby Marlow and throughly enjoy our yearly stay here to explore the area using the nearby train station. See you next year

Wish it was nearer to the town centre 15 min walk or we use taxi but we knew that when we booked and choose the beautiful hotel with pool for the children over some of the hotels in the centre which don’t offer this.
