It was a good location for our family visit and the room was large so no bumping into furniture in middle of the night
We stayed there in 1998 and nothing had changed. Could do with a decor update. The bathroom didn't have a window nor good ventilation

Staff made you feel very welcome. Great location near the ocean. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Small restaurant located at the front of the property.
When the car park was crowded parking your car can become challenging.

The room was roomy and had a balcony area. Wine glasses were made available on request. All amenities were as mentioned in the description with the a big added bonus of an extra large sunken spa bath which i wasn't expecting. Check in clerk was very helpful and offered some good ideas on dining and getting around.
The decor is dated but location was good and made our weekend very enjoyable.

Location
It was very old- there was a 90s phone and a wireless radio imbedded into the nightstand. I found a cockroach. The bed sagged. We were right next to the hallway exit door that slammed every time someone left.

Nothing
It hasn’t been updated since the 70/80’s I’d say. It smelt old. The bedding looked ancient and the pillows looked like they had been run over by a steamroller. The bathroom was dull and dingy and the sink had many cracks in it. I couldn’t stay their and sleep in that bed, so I blew my money and continued on my journey.

We booked the hotel to be close to friends who live locally and it was perfect for our stay. The location is fantastic just off the coast road with lovely cafes and breakfast spots nearby. Convenient parking, quiet and friendly staff. I would definitely rate it for a short stay.
The rooms are very dated so don’t come expecting modern decor. But they were still clean and cosy with hot water, so we didn’t need much more.

The location was ideal. The motel and room would.have been quaint 1950s but now.old and needing renovating
Mould in bathroom. Broken shower screen that spread water over the floor. No microwave or toaster, no crockery or cutlery. Room was old and needed painting. Base of bed was stained.

Quiet .. and in convenient location
Staff friendly and very helpful
Room and bathroom all very clean although decor a bit “tired” .. but Bedspreads new and more modern. TV excellent and there was a good sized Fridge and hanging space. Sofa, dining chair pads and mattresses all a bit worn out and not very firm … but for the price it is very good overall! We will stay again 👍
Beds not wonderful in our twin room and top mattresses kept slipping off by the morning.
