Great location and big rooms. Nice pool and sauna

Great seaside location. Clean room. Free underground parking. The steam room is nice. Friendly housekeeping staff.

For what we paid, there was no water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room. We were charged €9 for a bottle of tap water and a cup of tea. They could’ve just put those bottled water in the rooms, it costs nothing. The swimming pool is really basic. Note they also charge €2 per bathrobe by the pool. Breakfast was varied but poor in quality.

The hotel staff was very nice, the breakfast rich in variety, big room, sauna, hotel by the sea and free parking in the hotel garage.

The garage is a bit cozy, so I can imagine that in peak season you don’t have a space. Parking with a bigger car is also a bit tricky, but we really could not complain.

Big room, amazing view on the ocean from your room. (We asked for a third floor room) Lost my golden ring near the pool but was found and kept safe by staff. The private parking is really great, they have their own garage and it was included in the stay. We had a rental car and it felt very nice to be able to put it in a garage. Staff makes great omelettes and pancakes for breakfast.

Furniture is cheap and not suitable to be used intensively. Lots of stains and marks on the furniture that we couldn’t clean ourselves either. The pool is nice and warm but located a bit awkwardly near the entrance in front of the windows and next to the reception. Breakfast has a lot of choices, but most of them unhealthy. Although this was the case in every hotel we visited in Madeira. Also, the coffee with the breakfast was horrible, the worst of all the hotels we stayed in. To get reasonable coffee you have to pay 4 euro (maybe even 4,50 can’t remember). However, there are multiple cafes located very close where you can buy ok coffee for a reasonable price.

A great place and the second time we have stayed - love it. Really nice breakfast buffet and lovely big rooms - a bonus.

We had a one-night B&B deal, then a two-night package. The latter was described incorrectly - and the staff were indifferent to this, to be honest, and I will be contacting Enotel regarding the miscommunication.

No doubts, the hotel does not deserve 4 stars rating. There is a swimming pool at the entrance, which makes the smell of chloride spread on the entire floor. The rooms are old, there is mold in the shower everywhere. No drinking water in the room at all, a bottle of water at the bar costs 6 euros. Breakfast is disgusting, everything from the cheapest products, it is impossible to eat. The coffee is terrible (powdered) All these is a shame for a 4 star hotel. The hotel is not recommended even for one night.

Town had a festival with open air concert venue in our first week right infront of hotel. Room would have been excellent, but had a closed off connecting door to the next room. This meant you coulld hear next door guests, but , fortunately, they were guiet so in the event this was not a problem.

The location of the hotel is amazing. Ponta do Sol is a sweet little village, very cozy, between two cliffs. the stuff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. breakfast very abundant and delicious. we were super happy to be there!

this is very subjective, but the mattresses were a bit too hard for us. all the rest was perfekt!

Location right next to the beach is wonderful for the spectacular sunsets and the sound of crushing waves putting you to sleep. The parking is very handy and accessible. Rooms are big, beds are comortable, bathrooms are clean. The pool is warm (27°C!) and nice for a little swim. The massage was ok but nothing to write home about. The sauna is ok but only big enough for two people, the turkish bath was out of order during our stay.

Unfortunately we stayed during some construction work on the street outside so heavy trucks were driving up and down the road frequently from 7am. The breakfast had a quantity over quality approach- great variety but subpar ingredients. The pool next to the lobby made most of the bottom floor smell of chloride. The hotel bar is massively overcharged, around the corner there are bars serving a lot better with reasonable pricing.

The resort is very quiet with not much to see but a great base for seeing the west of the island.

We enjoyed our stay in Enotel. The hotel and village areas are really nice. What we liked: friendly staff, good breakfast, swimming pool and sauna (if it is turned off you can easily turn it on), modern hotel design.

Small underground parking area. We advice not to return late in the evening; we returned before 6pm and there always was free parking space at the underground hotel parking. It will be problem to find alternative parking space around, because there are small and narrow streets.
