Quiet location, handy to the airport.

Easy to get into CBD and also a lovely scenic drive.

Very friendly couple and they were so warm and very helpful. The wife booked us a taxi the day before for the following day. It was our first time in Wellington, and we dont know much about the place. She suggested a few things for us, which it was great. The room was clean, warm, nice and quiet. The wife also shows us information for places to order in as we were so tired when we arrived and just wanted to eat, showered, and sleep. She was very helpful and kind they were both were. We felt so welcome.

Location and parking. We brought our ebikes so great to have them locked outside our room.
Only 1 bedside table and shower curtain.....such a shame no glass cubicle as great pressure but not able to use without flooding bathroom floor.

Good central location, ample parking and check in boss man was hilarious and a good yarn! Have stayed previously and would stay again

Hosts were very helpful with our queries. Accommodation was cleaned each day with fresh towels also.

Rooms were clean and comfy
We were informed that we can't cook "Indian" food in the room and that we may do so in the garage near the reception. Suggested that these instructions be added to Bella Vista policy statement so that we can rule out staying in such places as it seems discriminatory. Indian food is a broad term, not everyone cooks curry. Also, we travelled all the way from Auckland with the kids. So, this kind of a welcome put us off.

The location was close enough to the CBD and Oriental Bay without being in the middle of the busyness. Adjacent native bush allowed us to hear lots of birdsong.
Excellent cafe at Greta Pt only 5mins walk away.
The flight path of planes coming and going from Wellington Airport was initially a bother but we soon got used to it.

Great place to stay, walking distance to city and restaurants. Fairly quiet and well stocked. Blockout curtains helped a lot to keep light out overnight. Staff were very helpful with where to go for shops and restaurants.
