Location and breakfast

Nothing much. There is no staff when you arrive at the hotel, and you only get a code to the front door when your room is ready so not ideal if you arrive a bit earlier than the check in time stated if you want to drop your bag off.

A great location and the breakfast was very good. The building had historical interest which was an added plus.

No parking, but understandable.

The power adapters and bedside lights did not work in my room. I didn't like that there were no staff present during the afternoon.

Clean and well decorated. Central location. Cleaner has a beautiful singing voice 🤩 It actually made my visit.

This is a tough one. The hotel is basically unmanned, with no food or bar facilities, except for breakfast, which in my mind, makes it more of a bed and breakfast than an actual hotel. You get a code to get into the building and your room, only once you have paid in full. I hadn't read the email so was standing in the rain for a while before I was let in the building. Once in the building, there are no staff. In fact I met a member of staff on my last morning, and was greeted with a pleasant 'Hello'. This was my only interaction with any member of staff. Except hearing the wonderful voice of one of the cleaning staff, from within a room. The dobbel room was clean but too small for two people. I'm sure that this type of bed and breakfast accommodation is popular, but not if you are expecting the personal touch.

Great breakfast selection, happy helpful staff who spoke good English. Nordic Shuffleboard in the lounge area. Complimentary tea and coffee any time.
