secure parking , friendly welcome, easy to find property
we were two guys travelling, I was aware that a twin room was not available, so we had to share a double bed. But we were the only guests and triple rooms were empty. It would have been good to be offered one, even at a extra payment?

Very friendly staff, very quiet and comfortable. Clean everywhere, good choice at breakfast. Secure car parking.

Javier is very clear and quick in his communication and all the staff (family) are very helpful on site. From explaining the houserules to tips for trips around the area.
As the hunting season started the hunting dogs of the neighbours were very enthousiastic (barking a lot). The house is quite noisy, but it's good Javier has rules to be quit after midnight. It would be great to have coffee/tea making possibilities in the room.

Excellent hotel in a good location for touring the mountains. Good breakfast and take away menu available for evening meals of a good standard.
Booking.com did not sent the special request to the hotel for one twin and one double room. On arrival two doubles had been booked. This was not the fault of the owner or myself. Booking.com did not want to know! If you book type of room through the special request box then suggest you check with the hotel this is OK. Mind if you check this with the hotel then you may as well book direct!

Traditional Spanish country hotel, lovely garden and outside seating areas and plenty of parking space. Owner was very helpful at the check in the suggestions for local restaurants etc.
The bed was a little uncomfortable with a sprung mattress. Out room overlooked a small lane which had farm traffic passing occasionally throughout the night, so we were woken up from time to time.
