Great stay and really really friendly people. The owner is super friendly and passionated and treats all his guests super personal as a very enthusiastic travel guide, always happy to help!

We really enjoyed our stay in the lodge. Everything was perfect: from the location, to the rooms with a great view across with the bay and the pool. The room was equipped with everything needed. John is a wonderful host who provided a lot of tipps what to do in the area including great recommendation for restaurants.

We loved the warm welcome from John , our host. He was so enthusiastic and full of tips where to go to , where to hike, where to eat, The whole family liked this and got enthusiastic too to get all out of this 2 days stay. We did a wonderful hike on Robberg, The 2nd day we went into Tsitsikamma National Park and walked over the Suspension bridge, what a great nature here !! In the afternoon we went to Nature's Valley and had a great lunch and a beach visit. Again overwhelming nature here!! We had lovely diners at The fat Fisch and Enrico in Plett; great places to eat and to see the South Africans celebrating their holidays. Great Sunset at Enrico's . We loved this place !!! Thanks John for all the great tips and ideas, this made our stay here unforgettable ! Big thank you as well for the nice breakfast and hospitality !!

Everything was great. very beautiful garden, amazing breakfast every morning, stylish and comfortable rooms. We enjoyed our stay very much and definitely recommend this place. Host is very friendly, he gave us great tips and suggestions on what to visit in the area and some nice restaurants around. Thank you very much for making our stay so great

The location was perfect, gardens were lovely and room was clean.
The WiFi reception was not available in the room, perhaps this should be specified.

The view is lovely, the staff are lovely, the dogs are lovely! John went out of his way to make suggestions and made us feel very welcome.

John is a great host and made as feel like home with his warm welcome and his cute dogs. It was a lovely stay in the beautiful garden lodges in a calm environment. The breakfast was also really good.
We were out of electricity in our rooms one morning, but if was directly fixed, after we pointed it out.

Had a hard time finding it. First, Google Maps is not accurate and took us to the wrong place. Then the sign is not easy to find. Property should give coordinates in their description or otherwise travelers are confused and frustrated.

John was extremely helpful & booked us a place for supper on Old Christmas eve. He discusses the different places of interest with knowledge and has maps of same for His guests.His dogs are quiet and very well behaved. Annie and Poppie are two wonderful ladies, ready to help with anything. Felt like home away from home. Beds very comfortable. Shower pressure excellent. Pool huge and clean. Setting of the B&B stunning with a gorgeous view.

Lovely quiet location with easy access to town via taxi which John helped us arrange. Very hospitable and friendly staff. We saw a bok in the garden in the morning. John was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with us organising our 4 day trip and recommending appropriate local restaurants.
The dividing wall to the en-suite bathroom did not extend to the ceiling, providing limited privacy i.e no sound or ventilation barrier.

The host John made this stay all the better, his knowledge not just on the local area but South Africa in general was second to none and a great help to a couple travelling through from the UK. The property is gated so it felt very secure, and the pool area was also a great place to relax after a long day sightseeing.

I really enjoyed that it felt homely. John was an excellent host. Extremely down to earth and helpful in terms of guiding us on what is best to do in Plettenberg Bay.

Nice and quite, lush gardens and bird life, really nice pool area, friendly helpful owner and staff, very clean room, nice quality linen and bed, very spacious room, fresh milk in the bar fridge, shampoo and shower gels provided, nice view down the Piesang Valley from my room and from the breakfast area, peaceful and tranquil away from the hub of Plett but only a few minutes drive to shops, beaches, restaurants, I thought very good value for money especially in Plett, would definitely recommend to friends and family
In room tea / coffee tray needs an upgrade - should include filter coffee, plunger, different teas, artificial sweeteners, cookies and/or rusks, complimentary bottled water which is pretty standard now in most SA guest houses and B&B's. Rooms a little noisy / un-private being timber / dry wall construction but not annoyingly so
