The lovely views from Catgedral ballroom 2 and electric bar.

The pillows in the rooms were very uncomfortable and the drinks at the bar in the Cathedral ballroom were very expensive so I didn’t drink much.

Loved the location & how close it was to everything. Stunning views.

The hotel has great potential but is older and in need of some modernisation. Carpets are very worn and room floors had stains

We had room 117. Overall cleanliness of room ok on first glance, only then to reveal dirty sheets which had brown stains on ( I have pictures which I showed staff next morning ) My husband had to sleep on a towel as it was late when we got back to our room. The noise levels were awful! The fan above the door is hardly noticeable when chatting or tv is on. Once in bed its constant noise is annoying. It does not turn off or turn down. Also there was another fan or generator outside the window that kept kicking in all through the night. It was dreadful. The safe didn’t work and the floor tiles in the bathroom are loose. In the end we got up early and left.

Staff excellent, efficient and friendly, we had to move room as there was a funny smell, but was moved asap and even when we had the fire alarm go off at 7am and had to wait outside for nearly an hour.

Staff were very friendly. Location was good by historic dock with many restaurants close by. Also within easy walking distance of railway station. Good choice for breakfast

We paid for a superior room. However we were located on the first floor with just half an external window and a view restricted to seeing four carparks! We were given one small bottle of sparkling water to last the two of us for three nights. Promised slippers never arrived. For the price we would have expected a cold box either with or without drinks (gratis or to pay for.). Very limited drawer space. Dirty carpets in corridor.

Rm 217, next to the lifts. Every time one of the lifts was used (unsurprisingly quite a lot) there were loud clunking noises and often a high-pitched squeal from the mechanism. Since we were there for a Friday and Saturday night, this went on well into the small hours. Additionally, the air conditioning temperature reset to 22°C every couple of hours so you'd wake up sweating and parched to have to turn it back down to a civilised temperature. Overall a really disappointing room in an otherwise nice hotel with a great central location.

room service bit expensive for the prawn roll 15£ ! To much for a small roll . Alarms going off at 7am and having to evacuate hotel was not great before a long drive back . Car park £30 when paying over 120£ a night is a bit much

Nice central location

parking wasn’t great as not enough room, No window in room, so no natural light. Didn’t feel like a luxury stay or a luxury hotel.

Tepid water in shower, only 1 large towel and hand towel for 2 people, no bottles of water as promised, first room we had , window faced a brick wall , but staff were lovely and immediately allocated us another room

Hilton hotels are set out like a maze to find your room but that's not an individual hotel issue.

Not the 1st time we’ve stayed at Hilton double tree Lincoln so knew what we were getting.Great staff,location and very nice hotel with a good brekkie

Squeaky bed and not able to open windows. Fault with bathroom fan. Could not turn it off and an employee came to fix it by accessing above the ceiling and stated that there had been similar problem in other rooms. Room was dowdy with a stained carpet.

Great location on the water, close to lots of bars and restaurants. Jade at reception was really lovely and friendly, she was interested in why we were staying and gave us a kind gesture from the hotel to help us celebrate which we really appreciated!

Lovely hotel with a great location on the river. Breakfast is served in the the restaurant upstairs with great views. The cocktail bar also had fab views of the city. Room was comfortable , clean and spacious. Staff were lovely and friendly.

Location, I like staying at double tree by Hilton hotels, love the crab tree products and cookie on arrival. Staff are always friendly and welcoming and design of the rooms are always nice.

Carpet wasn’t clean, a lot of stains on the carpet in various different places, stains on the head board, we had a towel that had a massive rip down the middle that we made do with as we was staying one night only for an event. Didn’t take pictures of the carpet I lost count of how many stains we found.
