Always a great stay at the St James, I think this was our 7th stay. It’s perfect for kids as so close to town

As always the mattresses are super hard and we don’t like the memory foam pillows so we BYO pillows from home. If it mattresses weren’t hard it would be a perfect stay but the rest is great

parking is pretty hit and miss. if you arrive later in the day then parking is likely to be gone and the parking close by has a limit of 2hrs during the day time. we couldn’t find a park anywhere near by therefore it cost us a fortune. very average experience overall

Excellent Location

Firstly, the staff were very responsible to make special arrangement for us to get in even though we were held up in traffic and arrive after the normal check-in time. Similarly, checking-out before the front desk opened was very smooth. We really appreciate the ease. And secondly, the location, especially the little gate in the back, made it very simple and convenient for us to get to the shops and restaurants.

Great location. all would have been fine but for poor design and poor sound insulation between units and unlucky draw of having late night revellers next door.

very poor sound insulation between apartments and strange configuration/design of units meant there was an overhead staircase above our bed to apartment above - meant we were woken by people in next/above unit arriving home at 2am drunk, shrieking, partying and stomping on the stairs above. couldn’t call reception - no information as to where/who to call after hours so we had to go downstairs find an after hours number.

Spacious unit, clean and tidy, nice windows and outlook. parking is handy. Really fantastic location and price point

The water pressure in the shower was terrible!

Very convenient location and quiet, friendly staff. Relatively clean. Easy check in and check out.

Stayed for 5 nights and didn't get a fresh change of towels. Towels were thin and small. No tissues. Nowhere to put soap etc in shower (no caddy). Found some chocolate from previous guest so cleanliness wasn't top.
