The atmosphere is happy, well attended, clean, dependable and surrounding neighborhood is walking friendly but you don't have to leave the hotel to enjoy your room, wifi, restaurant service, pool has great sunshine and lots of spaces for groups and family. Our tour to Irazú from hotel was better than expected, our guide was professional, safe, engaged, and experienced with wrangling a tour, mixed ages backgrounds. We enjoyed being close to airport on departure and the staff arranging transportation, the great job of laundry and the fun art and cultural heritage awareness of Costa Rica throughout facilities.

I think Adventure Inn will eventually upgrade the pressure on hot water. For now, if you want hot water: a shower might take longer because it requires lower pressure for heat system.

The very friendly and helpful staff. Pick-up from airport and they arranged chicken wraps for us on late evening arrival. Beautiful and big room and all very clean. Breakfast very nice as well

The room was big and beds comfortable but everything was very dark. Ancient air conditioner but we did not need to use it much. The bathroom functional, lost hot water at a certain point.

The price of this hotel is too hight for what it offers. 234.45 CAN $ for one night! ( they added taxes etc at the hotel) It needs renovation. The pool was dirty. The published photos make the place look much bigger and better as it is. The breakfast and cofee was a joke in the morning. For the money they should have at least given us a decent breakfast. We had to buy everything at the airport. We were at an other hotel when we came in to Costa Rica and it was cheaper and better service in the same area. This hotel is overpriced for what it offers.

Arranging a car rental through Adventure Inn was easy and convenient — they delivered the car right to the inn.

Lighting in the room could have been better.

The loud TV in the bar area that we could hear in our room as well as them mixing drinks in the blender. Did not like that we couldn't have dinner at the restaurant as the bartender needed to watch the football match which was blaring in the dining room (poor form).

Early check-in to room and pleasant Costa Rican decor. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the pool area was quiet. A huge variety of satellite television channels available. Shuttle service to airport.

It was difficult to get water from the bathroom tap that was hot enough. The sheets were very old and thin. There were sets of steps to negotiate in dark corridors at night.

The Adventure Inn has wonderful art, a terrific vibe, and a wonderful restaurant, I loved the coffee and wide assortment of fresh fruit for breakfast, lounging in the pool and hot tub, doing yoga with Antonio, and conversing with the staff who were really helpful and nice.

The hotel is in a good location for the airport. Hotel is very dated but good value. For an affordable quick stop over it’ll do.

A young couple had a music blaring on a speaker poolside which made it less enjoyable for the other customers. My husband had to ask them to turn it down twice. No staff attended to the matter. We decide to leave the area. We have teens, we get it, but cmon.

Friendly welcome, large rooms, lovely pool area, fast WiFi and very tasty breakfast included. AC available, but didn't need it so can't comment on how well it works.

room was a great size for our family, and breakfast was delicious. The people in the next room were very loud, even after we had security ask them to quiet down.

The Adventure Inn was a great place to stay on our final night in Costa Rica as a family with kids. The hotel spaces and rooms are beautifully, uniquely decorated. The restaurant, pool and hot tub, convenient airport shuttle, and free international calls made preparation for the return to Canada convenient and stress free. The staff were helpful and friendly... They went above and beyond to assist with some last minute challenges we faced. Thank you Adventure Inn!

The only things I would note - we did not have a mini fridge. I had been taking those for granted as we like to travel with fruit and a few perishables. The hotel is two floors and doesn't have an elevator. If carrying all your luggage up for one night may be an issue, I recommend you try to request a room on the main floor.

family run, great local art on the walls, very Tico and warm. Also good workout area, study with dedicated computers for work, nice lounging areas and great pool.

Jacuzzi, breakfast and attention

The food was nice and the staff was very helpful. They provided a lot of assistance getting back and forth to the airport and with helping us locate a lab for COVID testing.
