Grundsätzlich ein sehr schönes Hotel, Zimmer toll. Frühstück war auch gut, nur leider gab es keinen koffeinfreien Kaffee, so dass man auf Tee ausweichen musste. Das war ein Manko.
Die Straße war sehr befahren, aber dafür war die Lage sehr schön am Rhein. Haben uns viel mit dem Bus bewegt und da war die Anbindung gut.
Wie schon beschrieben, dass es keinen koffeinfreien Kaffee gab. Das war sehr schade.

The location was great as well the view from the room.
The heating system was not working. The room and bathroom were cold. No one at the reception could help us or find a solution. The hotel Manager was not available. We where told it would be fixed the next day but too late for us.

The hotel is across the road from the River Rhein and the palace with its beautiful park is just around the corner.
The room with a tiled floor and a small terrace was small but very clean. Apparently, the hotel had been 'done up' just three or four years ago. The breakfast was excellent.

The staff was very accommodating and the location perfect along the Rhine River. The hotel was very clean.
The room and bathroom were very small, however very quaint being an older hotel.

Small but nice room with good bathroom. Great view of the Rhein and passing ships with a balcony to sip coffee or wine or have a snack. Cleaning staff was very helpful in getting the balcony in shape to use. Breakfast was adequate but costly.
The traffic noise and fumes were simply absurd and detracted so much from the view and appeal of the balcony and any kind of restful enjoyment of the room. Parking, which appeared difficult at first glance, could be found in the local neighborhood and bags dropped off and picked up across the street (dodging traffic). the $10 a day hotel parking was almost useless except for small agile cars and accessed off a narrow one way alley which could be blocked at times. The stairs were not up to modern codes - too narrow steps - one had to watch one's footing, especially going down.

The rooms were not what I booked. These were in the back building with no view, as stated on the description. The service was absolutely poor!
I would like Booking.com to contact me for ensuring a refund on some of bad quality and wrongful descriptions. Very little which was shown on the list if available were available. e.g. pillows, size of bed, view, hairdryer, lights missing, dirty cups, etc.
And I ended up having to pay the full rate at the counter since the guy on duty did mot know what to do. I was even informed that it was available and the night duty person had not seen to it.

Breakfast was substandard - all the items that were supposed to be hot were cold especially the coffee from the machine!
One of the most appealing things about this place was the sauna, which we were told would open at 7 am. However, it didn't open until 10 so we couldn't use it as we had to depart at 8:30.
The restaurant was overpriced for the type of food. There is no AC so the room was hot. Staff was not friendly. The services were limited - food wasn't served after 9:00 and again the sauna hours...
This is not a good hotel for savvy, international travelers!

Excellent location. The hotel accommodated me with a quiet room facing the back. Very nice breakfast.
The small pillow kept coming out of the pillow case. The shower gel was not refilled in three days.

Not suited hang around in the hotel, but the river rhine and a nice park is just a few steps away.

No chair for desk work; no waste bin; no cloths hangers; no cup/glass in bathroom; bedside lamp would have been nice, so would a fan this hot weather & perhaps a bottle of water.
Disappointing. However breakfast was good and plenty of restaurants near by.

The hotel closed its doors earlier than announced, both on booking.com and their website, therefore I could not make use of the room which I had already paid.

The position of the Hotel is very good, as it is very close to the Castle and offers several possibilities for the free-time. Also the Wiesbaden Industrial Park is only at 5 minutes by car, which is ideal for business.
The absence of a dedicated parking (the Hotel has a limited availability) is a significant negative factor, as it prevents the visitor to organize his time with sufficient flexibility. Despite the delicious position, it's sadly necessary to opt towards other solutions, which do not have this problem.
